I do know they once shortened the Rupp Arena floor during the Sweet Sixteen. It was visibly noticeable with the partitions between the top of the circle and the center circle. I think when UK got the new Rupp Arena floor a couple of years ago, they did not get the conversion for the high school floor at that time.
The high school kids will play on the full 94 foot floor.
Advantage Lexington Catholic since I would think they are the only school with a floor that is college length?
If I'm not mistaken, the floor at the Fieldhouse is 94 ft.

Yes. They didn't deserve a bid to the NIT.
Sadly, I have to agree. Thr freefall to end the season sealed that.

Cincy likely to get a CBI invite.
Cronin says they won't accept it. I bet he changes his tune.

hmmm... Morehead in the play-in game would be intriguing.

HC hit an amazing 105 HR's that year. I don't see that mark ever being broken by a high school team in a year.
I witnessed some of those HR's... that team was AMAZING!

Wow... and here I thought the AAU was a clean program...

I mentioned this in another thread, but I LOVE March!

The kickball game scene is classic!

BOK Pros: New facility, nice seating, great lighting, players love the floor.
BOK cons: hard to get the noisy atmosphere, local lodging.
Just my opinion, I live 2 minutes away from BOK.
I see this changing

I was confused as to if they were challenging his credentials or trying to state that the current AD has hired him for some coaching position. Pretty sure they both graduated from Georgetown, so I don't think he played for that nationally ranked team! LOL. No, if my sources are correct (and I think they are) he was a middle school coach at Scott County. He coached basketball and another sport or two there, not sure. He also coached boys basketball at Simons Middle before coming to BC. :thumb:
I belive you are correct here.

As Peter Sellers said in one of the Pink Panther movies,
"Not any more".
I live half a mile from there.
I know... I'm 10 minutes away. Have you ever been to the one in Russelville? Rumor was he looked at a few sites over here (one in Bracken Co.) before settling there.

Happy Gilmore. But my favorite Sandler movie is Billy Madison.

What are you talking about? Her husband coaches middle school basketball and baseball. He was coaching at the middle school long before she got an AD position. You are cracking me up! He doesn't even have a high school job!! LOL. Seriously...these facts are easily found...just ask someone, heck, anyone in the school system and they will help you out with this. You guys start so much drama on here. I love it. Keep it up!
He's been coaching and teaching for quite a while, most people know that. I believe they are challenging his credentials, which would be an entirely different debate.:thumb:

Congrats to the Lions and good luck in the semis.

I am predicting a 64-33 Final.
54-28 with 2:18 to play... you're gonna be close.

Awesome cover.
I'd like to know where mine is! I always get it on Friday... here it is Saturday afternoon and -- no SI. I'll be OK.
-
Well, on the bright side, atleast UK fans can always look forward to a potential match up with UC in the NIT?
I doubt we'll be in the same bracket... maybe a matchup in MSG?

I took my kids for the first time last year to see Indiana Jones at Bourbon Drive-IN. They LOVED it! We went for my daughters birthday, and she's already asked to do it again this year.
I can barely remember the drive-in being on Rt. 11 in Maysville. I don't think it had been operational in some time then, but all the boxes and the screen were still there.

I miss the "old" 38th district as well. Every year was a toss up and a battle, usually involving all 4 schools. They would NEVER leapfrog ( in the geographical sense) Mason in with NKY schools.

May have been VERY interesting if they hadn't dug such a big hole at the start. Hold your heads up Saints, you played your hearts out.

Scott up 56-37 with 6:50 to go.
