I would caution any SK fan on disclosing any type of injury, if there are any. No sense in putting a bullseye out there.
Yeah now that's funny right there. We wouldn't want to say anything on a sports forum that would make a player a target. Cmon man.

Solid effort by SK O and D lines. Powell looks poised to have a strong season if he can stay healthy; fun to watch him run the ball once he gets some space.
BUT, this St. X team that they just beat in a game that doesn't count was not very good. Sure, they put a ton of kids on the sideline but they just didn't execute. Surprising to me although I don't know the personnel all that well.

It doesn't matter if they are the best or worst team in SK history; bottom-line, they are the best team in the 8th Region this year. Last year's team was the 2nd best team in the 8th Region. Congrats and Enjoy the ride. Looking forward to Thursday.

20-14 Anderson

Anderson was most poised team in the semis yesterday. SK should win but needs to play not so rattled.

Referee Trivia- During the game, jump ball called, possession goes to Shelby but before they inbound the ball, the assistant coach gets the T. SK got the two foul shots for the T but who gets possession of the ball and what way does the possession arrow point?

Neers down 5 late in 4th. Niece with a 3 after an unbelievable pass from Schmiade trapped on the baseline and another off of a set inbounds play as SK held on for the win with 2 throws from Gillium for the seal. SK looked like they were going to run Rockets out of the gym but SK seemed to get rattled and let Shelby take control. Not a pretty game but it was exciting

Collins made plays when they had to, always seemed to get the big shot they needed. SK with too many missed lay ups, about 6 where they didn't maintain possession.
Former SK State Chmpionship Larry Miller was at the Roy, still not enough to get over the Henry Hex.
One of my favorite group of SK seniors, congrats on great careers!

I felt like Bolden was pressing in the first half, played tight-maybe the number 2K in the back of his head. He seemed to come alive after Listerman called the TO at the same time he made a deep shot. Bolden was definitely the guy for a while during the second half but a total team effort in one department that was the difference....heart. Congrats

Well called; just watched much of the 4th quarter. How blatant was the foul on the 3 at the end? They gave kid benefit of "going for the ball" on the tackle but not on the 3. Couldn't tell on my laptop how hard she got hit; i.e., officials in front didn't raise their hands. Feel bad for the Trimble girl who missed the two throws and the one who did foul. Congrats Anderson Co.; that's what programs with tradition do.

The 2nd half looked like a Grant Co layup line
Game summary in a nutshell....and SK couldn't make theirs!

Comical; nice job of community service right there BOKC.
Surprised they don't ask to retain rights for your images. Too bad for all the kids who would have had some nice memories of their tourney preserved.
Come on down to New Castle with me and shoot. Roy Winchester gymnasium where basketball and the athletes still give you that feeling of what Ky high school hoops is all about.

Two teams scrapping all night. SK down by double digits but dunks by Pracht, loose ball fighting by Mullins, key 3's by Sammons brought Neers back. Seriously, Cummins dude can fill it up. Absolutely fantastic game that Friday nights were made for. Good luck both teams down stretch. Good luck with the broken nose Robinson.

Ask him about his daughter. One of the purest shooters I've seen.

Congrats on a great season to this team and Coach Lyndsay Figgins McCullers. Great group of kids.

Ugliest most exciting game I've seen this season....whatever that means. SK had trouble getting into any kind of flow all game. SK trailed by 10 with less than 90 seconds to go and ended up with a chance to tie with 30 seconds left. Point differential came down to throws and threes. 4 and 15 for Camels can shoot it.
Teams match-up again on Saturday.

How many 3's did ncc hit and what was there 3 point shooting percentage. I was told they but over 10 3's and only missed a couple Wow!
10 sounds about right. A couple were gimmes because of lack of D but many well behind the line with hand in face. One went in high off the glass but that's going to happen when you jack that many.
NCC offense was well run, it never stops. They beat SK on several back door cuts. Interesting part was the pseudo walking screens which helped shooters get some space. Well executed; do they ever run into problems getting moving screens called? They didn't tonight but I could see it happening. NCC seemed to tighten up on SK pressure as they were tying to milk the clock.
I could definitely see NCC in the 9th mix if they shoot like that. NKU backdrop a little different than dark confines on the hill though.
Great effort by both teams and fun game to watch.

SK overcomes 7 point 4th quarter deficit behind some nice defensive plays down stretch from Bosse and Schmee. NCC can shoot the rock

SK tried to slow down the pace....it didn't work.

They pressed some but definitely not the whole game and it wasn't very effective. SK looked good for the first game; size, shooting and played hard. However, it appeared MC was not at full strength with several guys on the bench wearing warmups. Not sure what was wrong with them but I don't think SK took MC's best punch...not a normal quality Royals team.
