To us local it will always be Title Town, but a couple wins this weekend will remind the rest of the state

Glad that he is feeling well enough to at least be on the sideline for the game.

$13 for admission and parking is too much? You're kidding, right?
Tickets where $10 each last year at Western and then you had to pay to park. Most places you had to park at last year charged $10 a car. Ends up being about the same as this year.

I think these two teams are pretty much evenly matched. I think it will come down to QB play. Which one handles the big game pressure the best and can make the plays in the 4th quarter with game on the line. I'll take the senior and take Corbin 24-17.

Congrats Corbin. Get one more next week.

Great win for the Ads. There defense was really good tonight.

Impressive!!

I dont see this game going well for Western Hills. Another blowout win for Boyle.
-
Corbin wins 8th grade division 2 state over Boyle Co. 26-9.
-
They might get 70+ again this week.
-
Somerset big!
-
35-7 Corbin

When will Boyle even be tested again? Seems like they are playing really well right now. As week as 3A is this year it doesn't look like until the finals to me.

Only thing this game means is who ever wins gets to host the next one in a few weeks. Should be a good game. Both teams are playing really well.

I have no problem with keeping your starters in, that's the way some people play. But I also have video that can show on Bates last two series on defense the majority of the kids that where on the field where not starters. I'm also sure with all the #s Boyle has playing there was several 8th graders that don't start that could have been on the field playing in the 4th quarter. Bate has 16 8th graders and several of those don't start and those where the ones that where getting a chance to play the last couple of series. Since there wasn't a B game some would think it might be a good time to get some of those 7th graders in a 40-0 game as well, but to each their own.
-
Not only playing starters in the 4th quarter when Bate had pulled all theirs but the on sides kick up by 35+ pretty uncalled for as well. No complaining from me, but i have been around a long time and those actions usually come back to bite you in the butt at some point.

I think garrards offense is going to have to turn it on if they are going to keep pace with western hills and Mr. Robinson.
-
Boyle looks to be the better team but has not beaten Cath. the last several times they have played. Will be interesting to see if that mental part does play any role in the game.

Wood is back at Danville where he went to I believe 6th and 7th grade. Supposedly playing basketball and baseball. Been told he's pretty good at basketball but baseball by far is his best sport.
-
Worst officiated game I've seen in a long time!
-
Not for sure why he left but was told he was hired as an assistant at Fredrick Douglas in Lexington. I was also told a few players transferred out. Any truth to that?

I think some of you are giving Pardue to much credit/authority. This is Chuck Smiths team. The offence is not going to change unless he wants it too. Until then Pardue will continue to call plays to the best of this ability in the offence that Chuck Smith thought was the best for this team when the season started. I'm also not sure the offensive line is as strong as they thought it would be when the season started. Danville had several tackles for loss by their D line, especially in the first half.

Great win ADS!!

Football for sure! There is no Title Town in KY because of basketball success, but we have been talking a lot about it in football his week. Main difference I see is there is no classes in basketball or other sports.
