  1. The Bulls had Scotty Pippen, Luke Longley, Steve Kurr, Dennis Rodman, etc. Were talking about winning games not championships. Luke has NO weapons besides himself. Poor analogy.

Thanks for clearing that up, I forgot about Steve "Kurr". My point was that if you take the original statement was pointless. If you take the best player off any team, the outcome of all games will be different...clearly.

  2. Wow, you take Maile off this team and this is a blowout. Im starting to wonder who approached who regarding Maile having a change of heart. Seriously, knowing Shover wasnt going to be 100% going into this season they had to have his double digit scoring/rebounding in the lineup.

Take MJ off the Bulls and you don't have many championships...you're point?

  3. Although there are probably a few factors as to why this couldn't be done (GT, let me know), I would love to see an early season tournament with 5 or 6 "local" teams. I'm thinking: UK, UC, UL, IU, XU, and throw NKU in there.

It would really be a great event for the region and could be rotated from venue to venue every year: Rupp, The Shoe, Freedom Hall, Assembly Hall, Cintas/US Bank Arena, and NKU's new place.

IU obviously has the Big 10/ACC challenge every year but I would love to see this happen. It sure beats the heck out of going to watch Ouchita Baptist, Lamar, and Miss. Valley St.

  4. I'm not gonna go so far as GT and say it's just paint. However, this is just ridiculous and comical. What UC did was absolutely harmless and not even remotely disrespectful. If WVU comes in and and jumps on it, it's not respectful by any means but if they can go out and back it up, that's UofL's problem. Deal with it.

  5. And again my question, in his interview do you think he told the CovCath people, "hey I'm gone as soon there is any opening in the GCL? And how about Bacon? Did they hear, "hey as soon as Mo opens up I'm gone?" Why would any program agree to those terms?

Exactly. I obviously wasn't sitting in on the interviews but I'm willing to bet he wasn't telling the committee these things. And if he did, then shame on Clines, as there were plenty of good candidates out there.

  6. A few things that I feel sum up this situation:

-Brossart has proven he cannot handle this job regardless of the talent level of the team. Like someone said before, he's made enemies with the wrong people at CCH.

-The first mistake was made in hiring Rodenberg. After having a guy like Lynn Ray who IS CCH football, you don't hire a guy who you know isn't planning on staying. I blame that on Mike Clines who other than that, is a great prinicipal and CCH person.

-Bottom line, you need to find a person that fits all the characteristics that TOG said before. Tony Acito gets my vote. If what I hear about Rowe is true, Acito fits that mold. Clines had some sort of beef with Acito but the bottom line is that Acito is a no nonsense, straight football guy.

-The hiring after Lynn Ray should have been done internally from the get-go. Now we have to deal with a coach like Dave Brossart as a result of the situation being handled improperly to start with.

  7. There is no difference. Try to justify it however you want. Murder is Murder.

Murder is murder, you're actually correct on that one. Pro-choice is not pro-murder/abortion...simple as that. Abortion is murder, yes. Pro-choice is pro-choice. Perhaps you can't see that from your soapbox.

  8. Good luck with that excuse when you stand before God come Judgement Day. Abortion is murder. End of discussion.

I'll let God judge me well before I let a BGP member decide my fate. That's not an excuse, brother, that's a fact. What would I need an excuse for? I understand what the difference between pro-choice and pro-abortion, you don't. It's as simple as that.

  9. No, comical is convincing your self there is a difference in being pro-aboration and being pro-choice. Church it up however you want but it is what it is.

Look at the word...PRO (meaning for/supporting) Abortion. So the President of the United States supports abortion? Interesting. If pro-choice and pro-abortion were the same, no one would be pro-choice. By the way, I'm pro-life but I also realize that those who are pro-choice don't actively support abortion.

  10. I will pray for Obama. However, I cannot and will not support his liberal policies of pro-abortion, wealth redistribution, etc. The change he plans is not the change America needs. God bless America, please.

If you honestly believe that Obama...or anyone for that matter, is PRO-ABORTION, that's just plain comical.
