Beechwood/Ludlow rescheduled for 10:00am on Saturday at Beechwood with the Tigers leading 14 to 7 with 9:43 left in the 2nd Qtr.
-
This game was stopped with about 9:43 left in the 2nd Qtr and has been rescheduled for 10:00 am Saturday at Beechwood.

the problem with that is I do not think the Behrens claimed anything it was the people writing in this thread that made all those accusations. Last timed I checked Katie has not written in here.
 Yea ok, w/e..Believe what you wish.

No surprise about the score as far as I'm concerned. Probably best for Dayton to let this one go and save anyone from any serious injury. They have some important games coming up.
-
I believe it was called at the half, and the Tigers gave away the W...
I think you are correct gt.:thumb: Where are all those Bellevue guys now.. Btownguy, wolfie and all you others, hello. Did they just miss a few blocking assignments again or maybe forget to pinch down with those defensive ends again? Oh yea gt, I saw BZ after the game was called and he was very pleased to get a chance to talk with you..Take it easy..

Boone Cty 51 and Scott 0

And they still about won so maybe your all star Panthers need to just worry about themselfs.
 Themselves or Thems Elfs?

You are definitely right about one thing to play in games at Boone Couty you have to earn it. Even if you have been a 2 year starter the next year you have to earn your spot again. As of this writing Katie's eligibility is in the hands of the commisioner of the KHSAA. She was told she was allowed to participate in all drills and open gyms. The problem stems from the selling of their house. The people backed out at the last minute causing them to own their original house and the one they purchased in Boone County. All should be cleared up soon though.
But you have to admit the idea of trying to make everyone believe that they moved because the father changed jobs is a ridiculous suggestion. I mean the last I looked Ludlow and Florence were only about 15 minutes apart. It is very clear why they moved so lets quit kidding everyone here..

Hc played Ncc once this season and Hc won. Thats what matters. Not what if's. These ratings are a joke.
:thumb: I agree with you 100%. I was simply responding to another post that was made.. These polls are a joke.

Hanging your hat on a JV win? My God this must be pure torture for you B-Town guys to have to live with the fact that you lost to Ludlow..

Call me crazy but i think Bellevue can still make the playoffs if they can pull off wins over HC, NCC and Beechwood :jump:
    You're killing me..Bellevue loses to HC, NCC, Beechwood and Dayton to go along with your 3rd loss in 4 years to Ludlow and I think you will probably get the better of Bracken Cty. Add it up and that leaves you with 1 win and 5 loses in the District and no trip to the playoffs this year for the Tigers.
-
Well for one yes Bellevue made many mistakes, including missing blocking assignments and not squeezing down with their D ends. The total offense for Ludlow was near or maybe over 400 yards which IMO should easily win a high school football game! Also your completely wrong about Bellevue not making the playoffs...
 And Bellevue made those mistakes because of why? Teams usually miss blocking assignments and are unable to squeeze down with their defensive ends as you suggest because of why? I'll tell you why. Ludlow was better. Bellevue got outplayed, outcoached and outscored.. 19-14 Ludlow. Read it and weep..Anyway isn't this thread about Holy Cross..Congrats on your win over NCC. Enjoy what appears to be a good year.

Hey BZ did you see our buddy the good Dr Draud was honored this evening by the NKY Chamber of Commerce. The voters of NKY need to take a closer look at this guy before they continue to send him back to Frankfort. There has got to be a better choice.
-
Everyone here is overlooking the Tigers from BELLEVUE... They may have lost to Ludlow but as many people saw they had many mistakes. I think they will give HC a game, perhaps even beat them.
What mistakes.. No turnovers. Ludlow made the mistakes and still won.. Look for the newspaper next year to say that Bellevue missed the playoffs in 2006
-
You can look at it one of two ways: 1) He doesn't know what he's talking about, or 2) if NewCath and Holy Cross played ten times, who would win more? Bellevue/Ludlow?
I tend to lean toward the latter when looking at his ratings, not necessarily as a "one-game-only" predictor.
If NCC played HC 10 times I would imagine NCC would win about 9 out of 10 times. If Bellevue played Ludlow 10 times then I would imagine Ludlow would beat Bellevue 10 out of 10 times based upon what I saw from the Tigers this past Friday. Just not a very good football team, IMO.
-
I wonder if anyone is taking them serious now.
They are this year what Bellevue was last year. A nice senior laden team that is taking advantage of it and doing quite well to their credit. When they sustain it for a great many years then get back to us, but with the move to 2A next year I doubt seriously that they will ever do much on a consistent basis at that level.
-
They gave up 10 to the Cross and I believe Dayton is a much better team than Holy Cross.
 You have got to be kidding, right? Dayton has had a nice start to their year but I believe reality will be setting in for them in the next few weeks.
-
That's like saying sloppy play by Bellevue led to a Ludlow victory...on a different they win big. Doesn't sloppy play always lead to the other teams victory? :sssh: A win is a win and a loss is a loss regardless of the other factors. NCC got out played as did Bellevue. I don't think Bellevue will play sloppy this week and Holy Cross will overlook Bellevue. Bellevue wins.
Bellevue got beat last Friday by a better Ludlow team plain and simple and the Tigers fans have all year to make excuses. They unfortunately will get smoked by HC. Hope I'm wrong. See you at our place next year..
-
I think this is the game where Bellevue turns this season around and starts showing people how good they really are.
I think you are correct. Bellevue will show just how good they are. I stand by my 44-0 in favor of Holy Cross.

These rankings are somewhat better then whatever system Cantrell is using.
-
NCC ranked several spots ahead of Holy Cross and Bellevue ranked ahead of Ludlow? 2 teams that just lost to their respective opponents this past friday but are ranked ahead of the teams that beat them.
It is this type of ranking system that causes one to question one Mr Cantrell and whatever methods he uses to rank the teams. I'm sure there are many more examples.

Fortunately Ludlow players don't think the way you do and they will show up and strap in on and continue to play their hearts out and you never know just what might happen. That is why they play the game, right?:irked:
