  1. NBA players are so amazing. Back when I would play basketball, the college line didn't require much effort to get the ball to the hoop. At the NBA line, it was far enough back to make it feel like you were compromising form to get it there. To think people like Steph Curry, being guarded, can shoot at a 50% clip is astonishing.

    No question. It's pretty incredible.

  2. We're pretty much at the point where contested shots at the rim are worse than clean looks from three as well.

I do think there's a conversation to be had about going to the international three point line. The NBA line is just too far back for most all college kids...

Agreed, I think they should use the international line.

Go on a basketball court with the NBA line and try to shoot a few. It’s incredible what those guys can do from that distance. It’s really far.

  3. What are you exactly? A UK fan? Just a Cal hater? Or just someone that has free time in the months of December and January to only disappear by February and March? I'm just curious, because I thought you claimed to be a UK fan before, but that's hard to tell.

Yes beating Utah is not a huge accomplishment. But in college basketball it's also about looking for improvement as the year goes on. This team is no where near its potential yet, but they are getting better.

There’s a term for it but pretty sure it’s off limits here.

  4. I have pretty good amount of pain in my left knee. Doctors prescription for Naproxen for over a year. Got me a bottle of CBD oil, not taken another pill. No pain.

Can you tell me what kind and where you got it?

  5. How about taking a short trip out to Colorado? Frontier flies there for next to nothing and you should be able to get a lot of great info.

Also, I would think the Great Google Machine would have a lot to offer on this topic too.

Not a bad idea, I do want to make a trip out there. I’ve read a good amount already, but there is just so much different stuff out it’s hard to piece together who makes sense for me. Similar to the different strands of marijuana. I’d like to get advice from someone who actually is knowledgeable in that field. I think there is a big future in this.

  7. Hey HT, I have a collection of Ultraboost shoes at my crib, you should try them.

On the CBD Oil, lots and lots and lots of people are using it. I suggest you stop by a couple of places that sell it and start asking questions.

I’ve tried so many different shoes and now I have inserts that work good but I can still tell there is a little something there. I’ll be over to grab a pair. :lol2:

I’m going to do that but I’m afraid they will just sell me because there is so much conflicting info out there about it. I’m def going to give it a try soon. I’m not sure who all carries it that would actually know what they are talking about. There are a lot more benefits than just reducing inflammation. I’ll let you guys know what I discover.

  8. Anyone use this with any success? I have some inflammation issues, rotator cuff and plantar fasciitis. I've seen a bunch of articles that talk about CBD and how it can help with these issues. I tried to do a little research, but there are a ton of different options and don't want to waste my money. Can anyone provide some first hand knowledge or experience with this?

  9. Based on our most recent energy bill, the 12 hours would save my wife and I a grand total of $1.37. So we'd be saving roughly $0.68 per hour of running. No way, no how. :lol2:

Your electric bill is $80 a month in the winter? :idunno: Teach me your ways!

I would not do this. :lol2: If walking was included sure, that much running would have a terrible negative impact on my body and joints and any money saved would likely be offset by injuries in the future.

  10. He gives up a lot of fly balls, particularly more to lefties and doesn’t miss a lot of bats. I’m starting to talk myself out of him.

If he limits his walks he could have a similar impact to what Arroyo gave them. At this point they for sure need a guy like that. Still many pieces away but a solid addition.

  11. Amazing isn't it how Cal gets zero credit for developing the guys that exceed expectations, but all the blame when players don't pan out or decide to leave?

I'll say it again, Kentucky fans are the worst. They (We) deserve coaches and seasons like Billy Clyde.

:thumb: Breaking news, some guys workout and some guys don't and it doesn't always have anything to do with Cal. Anthony Davis is probably what he is no matter what. Josh Harrelson probably didn't see the NBA without him. Plenty of Duke or KU guys flop in the NBA and sometimes it has nothing to do with the coach.
