  1. I dont know if I put Brohm over Couch just yet, hes yet to prove as much as Couch has at the college or pro level. Although this is All Time HS Team, so you may have a point considering he was as good, if not better then Couch in HS. I think before its all said and done, eventually he will surpass him. I mentioned Brohm earlier and figure he at least deserves a tie.

Cant we just rotate him and Couch, lol. 2 qbs is the trend these days.

  2. Maybe you didnt get my last post, or just missed it because Im from SE KY, lol, jk. The GREAT teams are GREAT because.......Its not numbers, all though that helps, its not coaching, although that helps too, its not hard work, although you must have that as well. But was seperates the GREAT from the good..........

    TRADITION!

Tradition is a mentality that these players have instilled in them that allows them to step on the field, believe they are the best, and play above and beyond their natural capabilities.

  3. One word...... TRADITION! It is a mentality that says "We are Trinity" "We are St. X" "We are the best! We should win this game!" The mentality comes from TRADITION. Ive heard coaches many times say that the sticker on your helmet or the name across the front of your jersey doesnt mean anything, and thats total baloney. Let me say it again, TRADITION, TRADITION, TRADITION!

  4. gamer31... please specify what you mean by "represents Kentucky College football." Do you mean to say because Burke committed to NC State and not UK or UofL, whereas Johnson did committ to UK, Burke didnt win and thats why Johnson did? If thats what you are saying then that doesnt hold. There have been plenty of kids who win the Mr. Football award that didnt attend UK. I dont think much changes even if Johnson commits to any number of the D1 schools recruiting him. I dont mean to start anything, just want to clarify what you mean.

If you mean that because Johnson was a bigger college recruit then Burke he won the award over Burke, then I will give you that. Im sure college potential plays into the decision, considering that in MOST (not all, and maybe not in this case, im not sure) cases if you are a greater college recruit you are probably a better HS player then those who arent. Not saying that no other factors factor in to Johnson winning the award, but this is just one factor. Im sure the fact that Johnson plays BOTH ways, and contributes big time BOTH ways, makes a big difference. The award does go to the best PLAYER, not the best qb, or any other specific position.

  5. Brent Slusher - 6'3 220lb LB/TE - Bell Co.

    Led the Bobcats in tackles.

34 inch vertical... 4.7 40 yard dash... very physical player, all-around athlete... excellent college potential... fairly well kept secret... is not playing basketball this year in order to hit the weightroom and attend football camps during the summer

Was invited to the Army/Navy Combine in Texas... If he performs well there will receive an invite to the Army/Navy All-Star Game

Is being recruited heavily by many D-1 schools from across the nation.
