One thing about Williamsburg is you will never see them give up, and yes Dragonpappy I do think they can put up 34 points on Harlan. Williamsburg is a good team with alot of talent and I think they will win this one.:ylsuper:

If Harlan is a running team I think Burg can beat em, but if they are fast and pass as good as somerset than nope.

Stan Hardin is his name. He may be a homer, but he is not what I would really call biased. He gives credit to the players regardless of which team they play on and does not complain about the officiating.

Well Sommerset pretty much has me not posting as much, they are a great time. This game is for the second to last in the district. I will not name any kids but to say that Williamsburg has anything resembling a "powerful" offense and a great defense has once again made me go off. If my team played MCCreary Co. and Jellico Tn. My team would look really good to. Therefore, I have changed my mind because I think Pineville played Lynn Camp well at least in the first half according to the score box. I choose Pineville by 10 at home!!!

Maybe if you weren't scheduling Betsy Layne and Jenkins, you could fit them into your tough schedule.

Does anyone know what Oneida lost from last year, or are we just speculating year vs year? If they did'nt lose much from last year, I'm going with the Indians. Williamsburg did not react well to the very physical Indians last year and lost. If they are rebuilding, look for Williamsburg to take it. Did anyone see Oneida vs McCreary? I understand that the Raiders held them to 46 rushing yards in the first half. Last year Oneida had a fullback that pretty much just ran over anyone in orange and blue, but judging from the McCreary game with them, he is gone.

I'm pretty sure Williamsburg beat Oneida last year at their place 13-7.

Listen, When you are Williamsburg you better get a win when you can. Jellico needs to stay on the schedule, becuase in a year or two or three, Williamsburg will be down again and numbers will be low and they may struggle or even lose to a Jellico. It is a fact of life in a small school, it runs in cycles.

Williamsburg seems to have a lot of talent in the 7th and 8th grade and the younger kids playing for the varsity seem promising so i think it might be longer than you think before williamsburg is down.

Did the Jackets get any better from this win? Answer truthfully? They can schedule some game in the Knoxville area if they want, I know this is the truth, but why play someone who can not compete? Go get Farragut or Knoxville Cath....or Corbin...that will show what the Jackets have...

Yes i do think the jackets got alot better in this game. The starters, for the most part got took out in the 2nd quarter and that gave some of the inexpierenced kids alot of PT. I think that will help the jacktets in the long run getting those kids some playing time.

Roskoph may be a horse but it takes 11 to have a football team.

This Marshall defense is pretty good. I'll be surprised if the Cardinals put more than 14 on the board.

I agree with you on that one. I watched Marshall County at a passing camp and their defense looked to be really strong. They have a pretty good linebacker i cant remember his name or number, but i do remember that he played for Marshall County, and he appeared to be the leader of what looked to be a strong defense.
