Go Black Bears!
-
I got a call saying 10-8 Harlan Co after 1. Bears bringing the fight and Corbin is playing really passive according to him.
That's true. Just got a text message.
-
I don't think it is going to work.
-
-
Thank you, sir!
-
I can't get it to work for me. It worked the other day, but not tonight.
-
I expected Knox to win, but I'm not completely surprised. North played Clay a great game in the district finals, and Knox hasn't improved a lot throughout the season.
I will say that I think Knox underachieved this season.
-
Knox Central is better than you think.
I don't think they were. :thumb:

Corbin has been the best team in it several years and didn't win it, so I am guessing someone will beat them again. Who knows who but someone will!
That thought has lingered in the back of my mind, too, but surely they have enough talent to get over the hump this season.
If they don't win it this season, Pietrowski fans will wilt.

If South is eliminated by another team, Corbin walks through the region. If South makes it to the finals, it will be a dog fight.
Corbin is more talented and generally better than every other team in the region, but it is a mind game between Corbin and South.
-
First round- Look for North Laurel to pull off an upset against a Knox team that will be looking ahead to Corbin.
-South in a low scoring game.
-M'boro still having a hang over from first district title since 97 and the 49 point game from Brown (B-ville pulls of the upset).
-The Corbin vs Harlan Co. (Corbin has the big edge on talent but I think the Bears slow this one down and play very physical against the Redhounds. Corbin 66- Harlan Co. 52.:thumb: In the end I think Corbin will win the Region and have a shot @ being in the finals of the sweet 16 against Holmes or Scott Co. if they can win that first round game. This may be the best draw the 13th region has had in 10 or 15 years.
I'm going to go with:
Knox
South
M'boro
Corbin
I think Corbin will win the region, beating South in the finals.
As you said, if the winner of the 13th (should be Corbin) can get by their first round game (probably Louisville Eastern or Jeffersontown), they will have the opportunity to reach the finals. I can't wait!

I think South will pull this one out. It is definitely the best match up of the first round in the 13th region. South has more talent and is definitely the more experienced team.
-
I'm rooting for the Black Bears, but it will be a monumental task to say the least. But, that is why they play the game.

They aren't online, though. I'll have to turn on the radio on my clock...haha
