Maybe age has caught up with me but I don't recall the name of Conway in the Ashland program. I could be wrong about conway but for the life of me I just can't place the name in the maroon.

You are right Morris did stay in foul trouble a lot this season . But I need for you to explain to me what that has to do with Owens beating Rondo off the dribble. Sorry about thinking that you are from Sandy Hook but your post lead that way.

Rickyp the only reason I brought up the boys on this thread in girls basketball was in answer to BR549 who for some unknown reason thought this was about boys basketball . When you bring up the West Carter state championship and you speak of the one that got away from us it really makes me wonder how good the kittens might of been if the 4 girls had stayed .I hope that everyone who is a fan of girls basketball will stay with their programs and follow them thru the good and the bad . Sometimes that means more than just 2 or 3 years i hope to see a lot of you fans out there in the next 5 to 6 years if not we all know why you not there.:

Just think if they never left ashland the tomcats would win a few more games. Vanhoose started at R.H. till the 4th grade then to poage then to Verity to the 7th grade . At Rose Hill he was in the 7th grade again you spoke of Thomas he aslo started in ashland at Poage school then went to Rose Hill and did a repeat of the 6th grade again. Mcdavid started at Rose Hill then went to Verity for football . If you want the whole list of the players that started at Ashland and went elsewhere to play basketball send me a p.m. and we can talk about it.::

What have they put in the water in Sandy Hook for you to think that Mr. Owens would be able to take Rondo to the hole . I've read your past post and I thought you knew a lot about basketball but for you to say something like that you might need to see someone about your eyes.:thumb:

For the same reason that we have prime time games for the girls on Friday night. I think that it would be great for the girls to play in Rupp like the boys do Lexington would be the best place to have the tournament .

Thank you for bringing up that great game in 93. All that is ever talked about is the shot we forget about the 17 point halftime lead Russell had and the Tomcats fought back and won the game.Was the shot good in 93 some say yes some say no. The fact is that Ashland went on to play in the Sweet 16.Once again thanks for making this old Tomcat feel good again.

When Jeff Kovach was in the 9th grade Kevin Ward was in the 8th grade. At that time we still had 2 jr. high 7th-9th grade. Jim Harkins was at Holy Family thru the 9th grade the he went to Ashland for high school .

How in the world can anybody from Rockcastle say anything bad about another feild. we at least have seats on both sides of the feild.
