Middlesboro had some great plays and some not so great. Need to work on the errors. Cumberland did well in the second half with ball control. They moved the ball well in short gains but did score. Look forward to next week and the Middlesboro's next game.

End of first Half. Good first half for Middlesboro. There have been some errors. However the scoring has been good for the Jackets. Earls took the first carry for Middlesboro and runs the field for a touchtown. Other scores are good but CG Ford took the ball 102 yards on a Cumberland pass that he had an interception in the end zone, all the way for a touchdown.. Could this be a record.

Tonights scrimmage will be made up of two 20 min halfs. I will not be posting a play by play, however I will try and do the game next Friday.

Bell Co 21 Williamsburg 7. first half

Does anyone know who the people were who did this? Understand from the TV that one of them was a Judge. It is said that he gave a place to live and job to the family to get them to have son play for Prestonsburg. Sad that these young men were caught up in the game their family and the Judge were playing with there lives. Not good.

In Bell CO the Collett and Brock are names with many brothers, cousins, and uncles who play or have played. I understand that the list of names may change but the little cousins who are on the way to County is very long. Look forward to the days to come. Collett's were Brothers Vernon, Rod, Dennis, Scott, Sons, Mark, Jeremy. I know I have left out someone Help please Middlesboro, has several that I can remember.. Adams, Started with the first James Adams, Was to have gone to Center Collage. Second James Adams , University of Louisville, Third James Adams aka Vic Adams was a UK Wildcat.. Two sons of Vic are Tyler Adams who played for the Jackets.. And Hunter Adams who plays now.. Russell.. Two Shawn's.. Father and Son. Both good players for the Jackets. Any one else want to have a go at these two teams..

Last night on the late news, from WYMT Hazard TV Station, they announced that the game between Belfry and Sheldon Clark Friday night,will be carried live on their Station. The Sports Overtime that is part of the late news will also be carried Live from Belfry Field.. Looking foward to watching the game... Good luck to both teams.
