  1. Sometimes these awards are based upon hype, it's sad but true! In the past I have noticed that the number of schools and size of school signed with also played a part in the balloting. All three of the kids mentioed in the top three are bigtime recruits and have bigtime schools recruiting them so the race is wide open and I would not be surprised or disappointed to see either of the three win the award this year!

  3. Where is Burke going to play his college ball? Argus, do you really feel that way about Micah Johnson not having a chance if he played in the Eastern part of the state? This guy is a monster, not sure if you have seen him or just making your statement based upon your loyalty to the East but, you have to trust some of the football people who know. The East must be filled with topnotch linebackers and have major D-1 scouts filling the stands during every game! Not knocking you at all but, that is a very bold statement! We in the West heard the same things last year about Pulley not deserving the award! I guess if Pulley was in the East he wouldn't have had a chance either, would have been a different player I guess.
