(All A Classic)
St. Henry took the lead early in the first quarter and did not look back. The Cru had a GREAT team effort with 4 players in double-figures. Campbellsville was lead by Malachi Corley with 25 pts, 7 rebs, and 4 asts.
Next up: St. Henry will face Somerset tomorrow night at 9:30

My bad, I meant Freshman.

I think it’s been a very, very long time since CovCath lost a JV game to a Norhern Kentucky team. Am I correct about that? I think Newport Catholic beat them in 2016 was the last time perhaps.
St. Henry also beat them in December.

Dr Phil says the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Last year, Dixie only beat Villa and Ludlow and those victories gave them the #3 seed instead of the #4. Villa and Ludlow were the numbers 4 and 5. Villa beat Ludlow To play st Henry while Dixie played Lloyd in the 2/3 game. Dixie beat Lloyd To guarantee a region birth.
This year I think that the seeding will be exactly the same, with Lloyd winning in the regular season against Dixie but losing to St Henry. I think that Dixie will beat Villa again to be the #3 seed. I do not see Villa beating Ludlow in the 4/5 game again, so Ludlow will play #1 St Henry and Dixie will play #2 Lloyd as the #3 seed. I think that Dixie will win this game, thus guaranteeing a regional birth.
Agree with all of this except I think that Lloyd will beat Dixie in Districts. When do they play each other in the regular season?

Some folks around these parts eating some crow tonight maybe?
Fabulous effort by Draud tonight who lit it up from three (5-8), including a LONGGGG 3 from the wing in the final minutes to cement the win.
The quick to pounce mentality boggles my mind.
A win over Newport is impressive, but Beechwood is a MUCH better team. They are still yet to beat a team ranked higher than them this year, but there is plenty of season left.

Paintsville will be playing in the All A State tournament on Thursday, but right now the post-game reaction from their announcers has gone viral, lol.

I would say somewhere in the middle, and knowing all of those kids I am not sure how many play after this year similar to last years class.
What makes you think that any of these kids would stop playing basketball after an incredibly successful freshman year? And now the entire program is beginning to succeed again, all with home-grown talent. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

I am somewhat surprised to see St. Henry #3 after beating Beechwood. On a side note, I hope that your son doesn't recognize others being rude and is able to enjoy the games without having to feel less than. I can't imagine the challenges that not only you have to go through, but especially him, and for someone to take away his joy in a world filled with challenges just seems unfair. God bless you both and continue giving your son these moments of joy regardless of how others act and feel. At the end of the day, as a father, that is all that matters.
And St. Henry won at #2 Conner in December
