Congrats to Newport.
I have to ask. Was NCC at full strength tonight?
Sounds like they were if nobody replies, lol.

Ok. I know Szabo coached AAU and took in Cody for a while right? But these are kids that want to play and went to great lengths to transfer to Lloyd...TO PLAY FOR THEIR COACH!! I repeat...what happened? Cody would have had many colleges interested in him and may still..but this does not help. I had a chance to speak with Cody for a few minutes a few weeks ago...seemed a happy kid looking forward to the balance of the season...so sorry it ended this way to him, Szabo, and all his teammates.
I still believe that Cody can play at the collegiate level, despite his inexperience. He's one of the most athletic kids I've ever seen in the 9th region.

Wouldn't be surprised if Beechwood knocked off the Colonels on their home court Friday like last year.
Wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened this year as last. But then again, I think Beechwood propelled CCH to a 9th Region Title after the District loss last year. Can't wait to see the result this year with extremely similar teams.

If NKU wins they also get to share a portion of the Horizon League Title with WSU. Just a little extra motivation for the Norse coming in.

I think I saw that Jesse Winker had to leave the game today when he took a pitch off his wrist during his first at-bat.
X-rays were taken on his wrist and it is nothing major, just a bone bruise, should be back in a week or so.

Dixie rolls to the Championship game Friday night at 8pm against St. Henry.
-
Final per KHSAA Scoreboard.
-
61-43 under 4 minutes, I am actually leaving this time.
-
Decided to stay for a minute and Lloyd went on a quick run to start the 4th.
51-38 with 6:25 to play.
-
49-31 Dixie after 3Q and I am heading out.
-
34-20 Dixie at the half.
-
27-17 Dixie with 2:45 to play in the half. Lloyd has been very sloppy in possession with costly turnovers.
-
18-11 Dixie after the 1Q.
-
Treshawn Cody does not appear to be on the Lloyd bench tonight.
-
15 minutes until tip-off at Dixie.
-
Which Fedders boy scored?
Camden, the sophomore.
