Conner got off to a slow start and Ryle never looked back. Conner’s offense is vanilla and predictable. There is no autonomy to be creative. Conner has lost 5 of there last 6 and based on there upcoming schedule and the way they are playing might get 2 more wins before playoffs. Congrats to Maddie S. for becoming the all time leading scorer at Ryle tonight.

Conner got down by 21 in the first quarter. CC was up 23-2. CC pushed the ball in transition and shot lights out from the perimeter in the first 6:00 minutes of the game. I would agree with Dirty Dave that I also did not expect this outcome.

Walton played a very well coached game.

Was able to watch two teams tonight that I haven’t seen play yet this year. Simon Kenton made it look easy from start to finish tonight in Lexington. Simon got off to a 12-0 start If I remember correctly and never looked back. Once the Conner coaching staff finally figured out SK was playing a simple man to man press, Conner started to make it a game and ended the half SK up 26-19. Simon has a solid team all around and looks like they are the team to beat in NKY. SK was very balanced inside and outside which proved to be to much for Conner tonight. Conner has a nice pair of inside players as well as a supporting cast that just couldn’t put it all together. It felt like Conner just never got into the flow of the game. Conner has a guard I’m not sure if she was hurt or not but started and played very little and seemed to me she was the most athletic and quickest player when she was on the floor and defends very well. SK won 67-45. SK looks like they are the team to beat in Lexington this weekend....
