  1. When I called and asked my husband but that was he just started laughing told me I'm on the wrong site lol
  2. So let's say my son is a defensive lineman which he is. So then what they're saying is he's not doing his job? I'll ground his butt
  3. Okay you have to explain to a mother what is defense penetration.
  4. Well we all just need to encourage our boy's to play harder and play Stronger. What else can we do our hands are tied
  5. Defense penetration? I told you I'm a stupid mother what does that mean LOL? I'm so not kidding either I'm really sorry. I see my son tackling I don't know that he's tackling the right person but he does make quite a few tackles lol.
  6. For the love of God can't we get a higher score than that. Lol
  7. Oh thanks for the kind words. I'm not being hard on myself I'm just being honest. I don't know one thing about football I just go to support my son. Because that's what mothers do right lol. I just find it very sad for these boy's.
  8. I've heard a lot of people asking that same question. But from my understanding my son say's he's offense. I was told he was going to help out on defense last week but I don't think that happen. I'm not going to pretend that I know what that answer to this problem is because honestly I do not. But I do see there is a problem. I'm just a stupid mother that sits there and watches the game and has no clue what's going on.
  9. Everyone's having a problem with the coaches but st what point do we lay the blame on the children? I think there's enough blame to go around. In the perfect game he would play what position and why? In my opinion if they're going to start doing away with coaches then they had better make a rule for the children too. We can all give our opinion on what's wrong and what isn't wrong but I urge you all when your boy's get home today ask them what they see the problem is. See what they tell you. It's a shame we even have to discuss this issue. I know people say this is a down year but them boy's are very talented. So I ask again what do you see needs fixed that the coaches aren't seeing?
  10. I've heard a couple people saying if your going you better get up to school Friday morning and purchase your tickets. So to be on the safe side I would
  11. What a very good comment from a highly intelligent person I can tell.
  12. It's my understanding that yes at least one child has been asked to help out and refuses to because that's not what he wants to be and that's not the position he signed up for. No matter what for any child help when needed or go walking is what needs to happen.
  13. This game is always a bloodbath. JV games it was always a fight on the field. So entertaining to watch I just can't wait
  14. I personally see Highlands having the best game yet. Don't count these little birdies out. They will prove you all wrong. Just watch Friday can't come fast enough.
  15. Now I have heard that there's been 2 that has ask to be on the d-line and was told they wasn't needed there. Is that maybe what you're referring to? Because I don't agree with that statement either. I think we need help on D on every position
  16. If true that is downright terrible. Especially if he's not really getting any playing time on where he's at now. Doesn't make sense to me. But then again nothing that's happened the past two years have made sense to me
  17. At this point in the game if a child was to come up to a coach and say they want to go on defense to help out and normally they are an offense player I don't think the coaches would say no but if they did shame on them. I know the transfer have had some time on the field and my son say's he's a really good so pull him over on defense and help the defense out.
  18. What I'm trying to say it's simple. If you are needed at a different position and you have coaches and other teammates asking you to join them to make that side better why would you not do it? No I wouldn't never throw names out because in my opinion that's wrong. But when you have people who are standing on the sidelines waiting for someone ahead of them to get hurt or out sick or out for grades or whatever the case may be then why not go ahead and do a different position just to help out the team? That's my point. And I totally agree with you if the boy's don't want to help out in anyway needed turn in the uniform. But that's not going to happen.
  19. You are correct these are teenagers and I said nothing bad. You can't sugar-coat kids not wanting to participate because it's not their level. It's called a TEAM for a reason. These boy's get very frustrated when these kid's don't want to help out. And we will never know if it would have made a difference because it didn't happen. I apologize if it comes off as a put down towards a child because it's not meant to be, it's my opinion as well as many others if you don't want to participate in the areas that you're needed then get off the field. Because at that point you no longer are a team player.
