Second interview with montgomery Monday.

They've cancelled the interview for a couple applicator twice. Maybe they weren't that impressive. Seems like this is taking longer then it should.

Montgomery isn't in any hurry about hiring a coach. Cancelled interview today for second time. May be that coach isn't a serious applicant. Don't seem like they are putting much effort in getting someone hired. Looks like spring practice won't be much if any at all.

Montgomery interviews are happening during next few days though.

McPeek is in kentucky for a few days. Wonder if we will see him in Mt sterling for an interview

I'm just speaking of overall support and guidance. I've put a lot of time in the jr pro program and would like to see it grow. I think the high school head coach could help this.

Looks like the McPeek rumors must have some legs. Community leaders are pushing for him. May be a second round of interviews to get him one. This is getting interesting.

Had a couple interviews yesterday. I guess they went ok. One was probably better than the other but ok. I'm just hoping that the new coach puts an emphasis on the jr pro program. I've spent several hours with it over the last few years. Just like for the new coach make it a priority.

The Montgomery committee is a joke really. Many on the committee know nothing about football. You have the girls soccer coach on the committee. Couple of patents that only have their kids best intentions. Mr Akers just wants his son to be QB. The school system posted a survey on the website for parents to give their input on where they want the program to go in what direction. I also feel like if they had a athletic director that cared or knew what he was talking about he could lead this process. 8 members is probably too many. Mark Ledford and the principal are the only 2 that really know how a football program should be run. Football is always second here. It's obvious by the cathedral that was built looking over the football field.

From first had knowledge, I believe there's one assistant coach that needs to go. He's been stirring the pot to much in the school. This could be a great job with the right hire. I also heard today that there is a current head coach ,from a school near by, that is interested in the job. He's been successful but is tired of no real support from his school.
