  1. No, he is correct. He said in Harp's first year. That was 1988. Somerset came into the game at 3-0 and ranked number one while Danville had played a brutal schedule and was 0-3. The Ads handed it to the Jumpers that night at Admiral Stadium. It was more like 35-7 than 60-0 but it was never close. Somerset went in to beat Danville in the semi-finals (not regional finals) at Somerset by a couple of scores before falling to Fort Knox in the State Finals.

    It happened both years.

  2. I can almost GUARANTEE it will not be a running clock Friday night. You guys do know if it wasn't for that long TD run before half on 3rd and 30, it was gonna be 14/0 at halftime. It could of been close but we didn't get in from the 1 yard line early in the second quarter. We did move the ball on Danville all night, but costly turnovers and bad punts hurt us. Danville corners are very suspect, and they play 10 yards off the receivers which I'm sure our offensive Coordinator knows that, because late in the game we exposed them a little. That game was much closer than the scoreboard showed, it just kinda snowballed on us at the end. This will be a better game, I can promise you that, LCA has been wanting this rematch since the last time we played, they felt like they didnt play well. This is gonna be a PHYSICAL war, and to be honest I think LCA is the more physical team.

First with your last... Which team had players limping off field the whole night? I think that showed the more physical team.

Second as I have said before Dampier was off that night starting from first play which would have been touchdown of it would have been a good ball.

I do think that game one showed LCA that they needed to improve to beat the Ads I just do t believe that they have improved that much. To add Danville has also sured up their defense and the offense is just on fire.

May be a better game just don't see it.

  3. I hope Danville makes it out of the second round. Clay hasn't made it to the regional championship since becoming the Danville coach.

He's been rebuilding the program and doing a very good job. If I remember correctly just two years ago they dressed 13 for their last game. Now the numbers are back up as well as talent and seems to be here for a while.

  4. Danville dont really have a good win. Every team they have beat this year are in rebuilding mode. And dont give me that Corbin win because they're young also. We will just see how good they are from here on out. I think playing weak competition is gonna get them beat when they gotta overcome some adversity this game and on forward. 10-1 against weaker competition don't impress me.

This coming from a guy who still had crow feathers stuck in his teeth from saying LCA would beat the Ads. As a few people who know the Ads are still rebuilding theirselves so I will take making quick work of most of their rebuilding schedule.

  5. That's cause you are comparing them to Danville.....LOL. Very few teams are athletic when compared to them this year. And let's remember that over half LCA's starters are sophomores to include the QB, RB, and 3 of their 4 WR's.

Yes I know that they are sophomores. I still think that they have a few guys that have good speed but just not many. Remind me of rockastle and Corbin. I think that LCA and Danville have some good games lined up in the future.

  6. Careful what you wish for, I too would enjoy it, would likely result in us moving to 2-9. We owe the Ads a few. The Ads are one of my favorite programs, glad they are headed back

I would really like to see Mayfield and Danville. As the old saying always goes you have to beat the best to be the best. Mayfield has been in the running for best 2a team all year as they should be but I also think that far to many people think that the west is just too dominate for the east. I will say this Danville has a legit shot especially if Dampier is on.
