I don't know if I believe that Danville will win big. I do believe this game will be one of the "game was closer than the score appears" when its all said and done.
I say Ads win by 17.
I sort of agree but I also think because of Somerset lack of offense ads will control it from.start to finish.

I'm going
Bc 50
Gc 41 (total yards)

I also read in the news paper that it was an inadvertent whistle on that play that ruled the play dead. I will say that the referees were terrible but I feel like they get worse every year so I come to expect it where ever you are.

Ok, You are clueless and I am done.
Clueless about what how a kid with no class is allowed to play. Watch the video by Wireman that was no football move. Just suck it up and admit Creek has no class or discipline starting with the coaches.
-
You see what you want to see and you believe what you want to believe. I simply used the incident where the player was ejected for apparently throwing a punch and the kid with the cast as examples of seeing what you want to see and picking the game apart. As for the kid with the cast intentions, you can't assure me of anything relative to intent unless you are him. I'll take your word on him being a good kid. I'll add that I have known the young man who was ejected for 10 years and he is an outstanding kid also. He made a mistake and will learn from it. By the way, the defensive player can grab, hold (as long as it's not a eligible receiver releasing down field for a pass), throw the player to the ground, etc. What appeared to be a punch is not allowed. The offensive player cannot hold and in this case he did. It you would like to keep picking the game apart we can...we can talk about the intentional grounding by Danville that wasn't called. Before you say, but he was outside the tackle box, remember they played Friday night not Saturday or Sunday and high school does not have that rule. We can also talk about the phantom timeout call and the fact the refs called it an inadvertent whistle. We can go on and on but it doesn't matter. Danville won the game. Congratulations and good luck.
It wasn't the kid with the cast taking the punch anyways. It was a guy half the size of the guy who threw the punch whipping him with a legal block. Anyways the he left the field should make you as a fan very disappointed in your team. His slow strut while taunting across the field shouldn't have been tolerated. If that was my kid I would have ran and the field and drug him off myself. No class which starts with coaching.

Plug #7 back in and he equals 3 scores....
? #7 For who

Here's this. Tates Creek should be embarrass for many reasons but the most is their attitude from the coaches down. As players dirty hits and throwing punches shouldn't be accepted but then again when you have a head coach who shows no ounce of discipline what would you expect. I will say this too Tates Creek should be embarrassed that a team with the talent they have can't beat a 2a team. Go Ads way to play the right way!

The question I have is can an anemic offense of Somerset score enough. I think the Ads were we and special teams are good enough for 14 pts and just not sure Somerset can put that up on Danville. One plus for Somerset is that Danville has been limited the last few games due to injuries to key players both ways. I still like Danville.

A lot of ads problem is shuffling players fur to injury.
-
So our you saying that Waggener had more overall talent than Danville?
Talent is nice to have but it doesn't win games all the time.
-
In my opinion, Garrard won't have the speed to get through Danville's defense once they get past the line.
Nope
Ads in a running clock
-
46.
From what I know the ads played without their best d lineman and was not focused at all for the game. But let's not take anything away from Waggener... they have more talent than almost everyone, and they look to be getting better.
-
I have watched both I think Vancleave is faster but Brents has better moves. And also if Vancleave was two inches taller he would have d1 college offers piled up just as Brents does. I think the Ads win but will be closer then most are predicting. One thing I wonder is does Danville get 14, 74,51, 11 back Friday. They missed them Friday against Pulaski

I will be honest what LCA is doing is impressive, when they play Danville that will be a battle.
-
Last year they played Boyle and won, the following week they played the worst game of the year against Corbin and got beat, I can see the same thing happening in this trap game for Danville.
I would say that but outside of defense Danville did not play but average on offense against Boyle unlike last year where they just throttled Boyle.

The first and the game winner were kicked by two different people. Hazlett plays soccer did t get there until half time or later

Ads giving Boyle line fits

I dont have a dog in the fight but I know a little about football and talk to a lot of coaches I know or have coached with. Wireman made a good point if Boyle can contain Danville's speed which I stated earlier they have the personnel to do so Boyle will have a chance to win. I think a key for Danville success is if they can block Kelly and Paycheck up front. That is two of the top dlineman in the state and Danville won't see 2 that good the rest of the year. I have heard from other coaches they both have D1 interest. If Danville can block those two Boyle is soft on the short passing game and it will be a long night for the rebels.
Adjustments will be a key part of the game. 2 Very talented teams, I'm driving down to watch!
Danville has already seen one legit d1 linemen who from what I saw is better than Paycheck and Kelly. Though they are good the LeBlanc kid was pretty good just way more athletic than Boyle' s linemen.
-
Imo I think the Frederick Douglas is the best win between the two. That was a stacked team.
-
I love how now that Boyle has two blowout wins against two mediocre team and Boyle fans think they're on top of the world. Not saying that Boyle isn't good just that I believe it will be a dog fight Friday and to day that Danville a team that return it's whole defense and almost everyone doesn't have a chance is a joke. Though Thornton is not damlier throwing the ball he is a better runner and their defense is much better.
-
I will say this I think for Boyle, Danville is the best team they have played by far. I watched John Hardin and Waggener neither impressed me. I think that if Thornton get time to throw which I think he will and does not throw Interceptions Danville will win. I have not been overly impressed with Boyles offense but their ability to turn people over I am. I think it will be a great game none the less.
-
I have watched both. It will come down to whether or not Danville turns it over. Boyle kills you with turnovers and Danville limits them they win hands down. As for all the speed the Boyle vs s claim to have, it is better than years past but on a football field there will be no one on vancleaves level. Depth wise the ads have enough depth to compete. As I said if the ads limit turnovers they win because Boyle still has trouble with speed.

1- Cal returned enough and have the best player in 2A Milton Wright
2- Danville unknowing to most but they may have best defense in 2A
3-LCA may be the best team but they ha e to beat Danville when it matters to prove it
4-Desales good defense but can they score on a good defense
5 Mayfield well it's just Mayfield

I will say LCA has probably one of the best offenses in the state. Looks like now they another option at RB besides Wheatley which makes him more dangerous when they wear you down. I don't know without Miller at QB how well they throw bit the other kid is a gifted runner. They have a few WR that are skied and can score from anywhere.
My question with LCA is oline and defense. They lost a few linemen from last year which is sometimes hard to replace. But their defense was solid against most teams they do have a little trouble with speed though.

Can someone confirm has Somerset had injuries that has held them back on offense. I heard this on the radio last night and was just wondering. I think the Ads have lost a little of their defensive focus lately but will be tuned in come LCA.
