Congrats, Paris! Great achievement.

Congrats to Paris. Saw them play a few times at the Traditional Bank Classic after Christmas. They are a solid team.

Very cool. Thank for taking the time to do this.

Tough, hard-fought game by both teams. Big win for the Knights.

For Lexington Catholic
I'd like to see Newport Central Catholic and Owensboro Catholic.

Really thought Lafayette would put up a better fight than this. Sounds like LCA was hot tonight and Lafayette just never got it together.

Thanks for the updates.

Good schedule. Looking forward to seeing how the Knights fare next year.

Best of luck to Coach Cantrall. He'll be missed by the Knights.

Dunbar and LCA were both out of school today, but this game will be played as scheduled.

Is this a varsity score? Very low scoring.
Yes. Both teams struggled to score.

The District of Death. I'd love to see these two play this year. I'm assuming Prepspin has this one on file now?
It should be, yes.
-
Both teams struggled through the first 3 quarters. They came to life and played a great 4th quarter. Very competitive.

Lexington Catholic was a basketball school since football didn't exist until 1990. Around 1998 the tides started to turn as coach Bob Sphire had built the Knights into a contender and Danny Haney had the basketball team relevant on a national level. Now I'd say it's a football school just slightly, but the basketball team is still a contender every year. If I had to guess I'd go 55% football, 45% basketball.

Sounds like this was a great game, as expected.

Info about tonight's Lexington Catholic/Lafayette game
in KY Boys Basketball (High School)

For anyone going to tonight's Lexington Catholic/Lafayette game, be advised that it will be played in the Alumni Gym. Enter the building from the left side of the school. The Alumni Gym is quite a bit smaller than the Bueter Gym so get there early to get a seat.
