#1 McCracken County hosted #24 University Heights in Paducah tonight. McCracken scored 2 in the 1st, 7 in the 2nd, and 1 each in the 3rd, and 4th innings. The Mustangs Jenny Chapman gave up a lead off single in the 1st then held UHA hitless until she gave up a lead off HR in the 4th, walked the next batter, then struck out the side. She also struck out the side in the 3rd inning.
McCracken County will play #6 Anderson County on May 7th in the Best of the West at Buchanon Park in Bowling Green. And the winner will play the winner of Male and Madisonville North Hopkins who are in the same pool. Good teams playing good teams is what it's all about. Should be some great games and getting the teams ready for districts, regions, and state.
