Gibson southern ran the ball out the spread and passes 5 times in first half. We where down 49 at half three of the five passes where for 6. I understand you can run out of the spread. You are spreading the defense out but how can you spread them out when they want you to throw the ball because they know you can't.

I didn't say st.x did I was just asking, and guess what you won't believe me and will go try to find the stats I know, st.x has a qb,wr, te, and rb that can all catch a ball. Find one team in the state that ran the spread with as low numbers passing as we did and had a better record than our mighty 4 wins. Guess what defense love teams that run the spread and have a good running back, a qb that can't hit his target, and wr that can't catch a ball.

And since you want to go back in history our first year we went to Meade county for the playoffs we were about 50-50 pass and run. First half we throw 95 percent of the plays and it worked, worked so well we didn't score.

you live in bg you have all kinds of good football teams you want Morris so bad you take him. And where was the 500 yards vs any other team if your so much a defense person why do you keep talking offense. And it's easy to score 48 pts and get 500yards starting at the 45 and running the ball up the middle vs them.

I think you are right about skip. Form here on the question is can ware throw the ball? If he can maybe use him in the wishbone of flex he is very fast but still have to throw a little. Skip either way will be on he field on defense or offense.

I went to every game our defense was ok when it came to coaching to the right spot but we couldn't tackle to save or lives. We gave 24 3rd downs of more than 10yards and 12 of them where more than 15 yards. We also had the qb sacked 19 times and let him get away. Defense wins championship my friend but like I said nobody saying anything about defense coach begin the head coach of Henderson. Also nobody saying the defense was good like somebody are saying the offense was. Oh yeAh and we gave up 4 4th and 20's and three of the 4 went for tds. Reitz, Gibson southern and Caldwell. 48 pts vs memorial how many pts did the offense hve to score of 50 yards?? Just 14pts d scored and we had field position due to turnovers and great punt returns. The Daviess county game was the best offense we had the next game we didn't see the power I and we didn't get 175 yards. The reason why nobody is talking defense is because nobody is saying the defense coach would be a great head coach. Since you know so much about Henderson county and defense who is the defense coach? And what do you know about him?

must of not seen the tape on Daviess where we ran the power I the whole game and it was our best game overall on the scoreboard and stats and the defense got a break.

Also if we had the number 1 d in that state it would be by the stats not pts. Just because you have the best scoring d dosen't mean you have the best defense. because our offense and sp teams scored a lot of pts for the other team. So vs Reitz we could have gave up 7 pts and 45 yards and still lost 28-14. It wasn't the defense fault they had two pick 6's and a punt return for a td. But we didn't have the best d and got beat 64-14. lol

The defense had more injures than O!! The O wasn't any better than D all i was making a point to the guy that said the Veer sent us back. When we ran the Veer we also had really good D. And it didn't matter the style of D we played either because we couldn't tackle your grandma! lol.

I don't care what we run on offense but don't run the spread when you don't have a qb or a wr. We had a great running back. We could have had the best d in the state wouldn't have won anymore games.

I'm just saying the veer is not what set us back, And we where 6th in rushing because we passed the ball out of bounce and then handed off to one of the states best running backs and broke three tackles and got ten yards. Our offense and sp teams was the worse I have ever seen. The defense didn't get a chance three and outs by offense horrible punts.

Lol okie, The Veer won 9 games in row for 5 years took us to four straight region title games. Two of those games we where in losing at Lou Male 14-7 in overtime, a game that we lead 7-0 and late in the game we threw instead of running the ball at the 2 yard they picked it off and ended up tying the game. The other lose Lou Bulter up 24-10 going into the fourth and got beat 31-24 in overtime. The Veer worked because Henderson will never have enough players out their to run the spread. Last year we didn't have a qb or a wr i think you would need at least one of those to run the spread. But we did have the school's all time leading rusher with over 3800 yards can you imagine what he would have had in the Veer or Wish Bone.

I have no clue what Morris did at McLean but i can tell you our offense was very predictable and Coach Lewis didn't hire him as first choice he had a guy coming with him and came to Henderson for a few weeks and then got a head coaching job at Harrison,ind.

Owens looked good, played about 15 mins had 18pts 8 Rebs. Henderson won 72-44 over a bad Mulhenburgh county team. Got the running clock early in 3rd where up 32 at half. Carter expected to play as early as Saturday.

If your at Henderson you need to win 8 or 9 games a year to keep everybody happy like duffer and clay did. At a smaller school like McLean if they can win 9 games one year then 3 or 4 the next 5 years they are ok with that. Of course mayfield expects to win every year, and then their are a few big schools like Dunbar that they don't care to much.

Ill say this Morris was full control of the offense. The only reason why his name got brought up was because the chief is trying his best to keep Josh Boston put. I love Morris as a person and he would be a great coach at a smaller school but not going to work at 6-a school and one thing Lewis did wrong was give guys to much play calling responsibility.

This rankings are as good as they get. I will see Henderson tonight ownes should get some action. Carter is still in rehab but was walking around at boys game Friday night. so if all goes will both should be playing next week.

They are supportive, you can lose by 50 pts just don't yell at the kids to bad.

We would be better with the chief coaching than Morris.
