Owen County has been removed from KHSAA site
Iroquois has been removed from JCPS site
No words on Ballard or Bullitt East

Sounds like a quagmire in Casey. Best of luck Coach Marple, your success will surely draw other schools attention towards you.
2016 is upon us and the coaching changes are stifling compared to last year. Updated list please.....
-
Iroquois job no longer posted on JCPS website. Sander must be a busy man.
-
Charger nation you have to have an inside scoop... is this a done deal already???
Where is Rick Grimes when you need him, he knows a lot about Bullitt County.
-
So if you look at all of the records and compiled historical data and trends, do coaches at these lower echelon schools who have success, have better opportunities to propel their career and/or have had more success at high echelon schools?
Are these schools a great filter for next generation coaches who will succeed and who wont, also always making them a 'stepping stone" school. Do these schools use this information to attract coaches?
Disclosure: I don't know what it's like to coach in JCPS, I reserve all judgments on past and future coaches and their success/failures. I'm just an avid football follower.

do you have a link to that site... that would be a good read.

Was he the DC at Ballard in 2014?
-
Farmer was at Doss, went to Ballard as DC last year. I think he coached for Kentucky Extreme (semi pro). I heard that Ballard has to hire inside JCPS because of teacher overages.
What names are in the running for Ballard?
-
bump.

Can a mod update the master list to reflect Ballard opening
-
Touche', just yanking at your chain a little.
You may be able to answer this..... what's up with football in the county of Nelson. Mark Brown is an awesome/hall of fame coach and 1996 was a while back so things can change, I get that, but like what's up with NCHS and TNHS?

Rick: I agree with you, sound like its just a matter of time. You seem to know a lot about Bullitt area-- are you applying for the job?
-
Harry: I know you kept up with this thread last year fairly well. What was the count of opening last year around this time?
-
Jefferson County Public Schools, Louisville, Kentucky
I went to the hiring site for JCPS, I'm not sure how up to date those things are, but Valley job is open too?
-
according to JCPS website
Jefferson County Public Schools, Louisville, Kentucky
Iroquois is now open
What happened to King? He had a great year last year.....
-
I know this is off topic but what ever happened to the Ashland/Boyd County Coal Bowl?
-
I think the guys that ran the thread last year did a good job of listing and labeling official or unofficial (rumored). I'm sure it will be policed the same way.
-
Mad South turning it around from a rough jump out of the gate. I like both coaches in this one. Going to be a great game.
Going with Mad South to keep the ship rolling!!!

I started an Open Job forum to continue open job discussions--- I think HOT SEAT is a little unfair for coaches that only get paid 4-8k to coach.
-
With playoff games next week for those teams that made it, the stir of echoes has to be howling. Teams are already done with their season and the "HOT SEAT" thread just doesn't do it for me.
Some hate it, some love it, but it's always a staple to this forum. Let's talk open jobs.

When I played a long time ago when there were 4 classes of football. I played against two of the three Bullitt schools. NB always had comparable kids to south Louisville. BE had a different type of kid, tons of parent support, fans galore at games and facilities much better than NB's. Easy to tell they were given the nod by the county officials. Plus I think all of the BOE members live in Mt. Washington and their kids all go to BE.... not a coincidence IMO.
BE would be a great job to get outside of the no middle school football.
