I looked at KHSAA, Eminence is historically pretty good. Coach Fromeyer had them boys playing ball!! (8-man and 11 man)

I think it has something to do with insurance (catastrophic/ casualty), I don't believe the schools could and would be willing to afford to carry it through the spring.

There for a second I thought I had heard wrong. Wesselman of Owen County has interviewed; not Weedman of Carrol.

Please clarify.

Yes, apparently Lawson has family ties to the area and has be heard speaking about NC being his dream job.

I called someone I know that's close to the program. He said all is quiet at Nelson, but Fox, Lawson and Bobblit got brought up in our conversation for names of interest for NC if Egli were to leave.

Where is the Nelson County job posted????

Just looked on the site. Nelson County's feeder school Bloomfield Middle has an opening. Did Egli get the Montgomery county job?

I stop in Bedford KY for breakfast on travel days for work at this little diner, newspaper clippings of the football team hang from the walls. Reminds me of a movie style "football town"

Anyways I was there yesterday. I asked a townee, she said they love coach franklin but they think it's over money issues.

Are they going to open the head coach position soon, or do they already have the person assigned??

Looks pretty balanced. Khsaa roster has them losing 15 seniors, on a small 5A roster. BC may be looking at a rebuilding year.

Owen County is no longer listed on the county site.

PLD is over a month of being posted, and some talk about Lucas interviewing.

Hardly any openings due to coach movement from one school to another this year.

One school on the list does not have any open teaching jobs at this time and therefore nothing they can offer a coach. They have decided to wait till spring to fill the open vacancy. Asst Coaches and the former HC are working winter weights with the program until a new coach is hired.

What job are you talking about? Why is the former HC helping? Did he leave on his own accord? Retiring?

Farmer has had success at Doss.

King had the 11-2 season at Iroquois but no success at Valley.

Stallings has had two 3-7 seasons at Moore

No disrespect to the guys that were interviewed, but am I the only one that felt the listed candidates for Ballard weren't impressive. I thought the job was Farmer's by the way they slated the rest of the field for interviews.

The surprise for me is that they weren't impressed with Farmer either.

Running the Race and Johnny_Utah---- I was always told that being an AD is a thankless job and that the AD is the hardest working person in a building second/third to two others (Head football coach, attendance clerk)

Can we get an updated list, I feel like a lot has changed since the middle of last week.
