I'll take Danville 28-26. Rock will have their physical run attack in full force, but I think the speed of Danville on offense is the difference in this one. I say Rock gets stopped in the red zone once or twice.

Perry was #11 ,
#2 was Michael Davis. But they were both very good and both had long touchdown runs in the game. Garrard was playing without one of the best secondary players (and wide receiver) in this game but the secondary will have to tackle better going forward. One Perry and Davis were behind the linebackers there was no catching them.
Mistake on my part. Both were very fast and obviously very tough to tackle by the way Garrard handled them all night. Corners got hook blocked all night long and outside runs by Shelby was their bread and butter.

Who was favored to win this game?
Not sure but I do believe Garrard might've been a slight favorite. Shelby has some big time play makers. Especially #2 Michael Perry. Shelby is a very solid team this year. Will have a good year.
-
Garrard last heave was intercepted that ended the game. Great game played by both sides. Shelby had more big plays in the end and Michael Perry was their difference maker!
-
3 yd TD run. XP good. 31-30 Shelby Co.
-
Jacob Foley 2 yd TD run. 2 pt is good. 30-24 Garrard with 6:39 left in game
-
No doubt about it!!
-
Michael perry 12 yd TD catch. XP good. 24-22 Shelby 36 sec left. In 3rd
-
Garrard TD run from 13 yds by Jacob Foley. 2 pt good. 22-17 Garrard 2:39 left in 3rd
-
59 yd TD run by Michael Perry. EP good. 17-14 Shelby Co.
-
Yes was very confusing. Officials made it more confusing by taking so much time.
-
Garrard scores with no time on clock to end half. 2 pt good. 14-10 Garrard at half
-
Garrards defense has really picked it up after first 4 mins. Settling in now. Garrard ball now.

I think Estill sticks tough throughout the game until late in game. Their strong run presence with the ability for big plays will keep them in the game. Don't be surprised at a very close game. Russell, IMO will prove the experience in this situation will be too much for Estill!
Estill Co 26
Russell 34

Agreed. With the exception of a decent performance against a really bad West Jessamine team, Garrard hasn't looked the same since they topped Bourbon County last month. The thing is though, both of these teams are dangerous enough that if they do click on all cylinders, they can beat just about anyone.
Yes they can. Garrard's defense cannot give up the big play against Bourbon like they did against West Carter or it will prove to tough for their offense to keep pace.
-
Should be a great game on a cold night! Weather conditions will be better than last game played when Bourbon struggled to pass the ball.
Who wins?
-
46-28 Garrard. 6 mins left.
-
38-28 Garrard. 11 mins left.
-
End of third. Garrard up 38-20
-
Playoffs should look like this:
West Carter at Garrard Co.
Mason Co. at Estill Co.
Bourbon Co. at Fleming Co.
Western Hills at Russell
-
IMO, there should only be 5 classes. Why in the world are some districts in 1A and 6A that have only 3 teams (in new alignment), allowing the 5th place team out of the sister district to become the 4th place team! That is crazy!!! Something needs to be done!
-
Kinda what I thought. That will be a very tough game and environment for Garrard. They are good enough to come out with a win, but can they handle being stopped in run game? Seems as if teams that can slow down their run game has a good chance of beating them. Need to develop a little bit of a passing struck for playoffs if they want to be successful IMO!
-
Who will get the tiebreaker?
I have no idea how the tiebreaker will work. Looking into the playoffs these three teams will either be matched up against:
#1 GC,BC,EC vs #4 West Carter
#2 GC,BC,EC vs #3 Mason Co.
#3 GC,BC,EC @ #2 Fleming Co.
Which is the most likely scenario for each team? I am hoping Garrard didn't blow their chances at a home playoff game this year! All in all the playoffs look to be very competitive this year with Russell, Fleming Co., and Mason Co. in the oppostie district. Can't wait!

Which team will get back on the winning side this week?
Will Garrard County fix some issues they had last week with their perimeter defense?
Don't really know a lot about Southern, but I do know this game usually is very physical and close finishes happen quite often.
Who will win?
