Underestimate Henry Clay at your peril. They have won five of their last six and, although they have lost to Lafayette three times this season, there is a thing that goes by the name of Law of Averages. they looked pretty good while overturning Scott County on Thursday.

Jackson Davis should have won MVP on his performance last night alone. Take away half of those 31 boards and he still has a productive night but the game certainly doesn't go to overtime, let alone a second one.
With regards the media at the games, it really does vary. The three television stations in Lexington were in attendance but they rarely cover the whole game. There were two radio stations and a representative of the Herald-Leader in attendance along with three credentialed photographers but you can't really anticipate this type of media being at the games.
I agree with the poster that sometimes the best/most valuable player comes from a beaten team but how to get around the current selection process will be an issue.

Odd. The scoreboard also had Bryan Station beating Henry Clay on Tuesday night (it has since been fixed).
Again, while on its own floor, Henry Clay was technically the away team. Someone must have literally misread the scoreboard (and not watched the game) for this to happen twice in the same week.

The scoreboard has Scott co as winning this game....?????
It is possible that someone got confused. I'm not sure which scoreboard you are referring to )online as to real) but Henry Clay was the away team for both district games played at Henry Clay this week.
If you recall, Bryan Station are the school that actually hosted the tournament and Henry Clay's position in the bracket had them as the away team in every game they played ... thus, they played in black both nights on their home floor.

JW ... I've covered Henry Clay seven times this season. In those seven games they are now 4-3. It really does depend on which team turns up on the night.

I believe so, JW. Isaiah made the All Tournament team and the look of surprise on his face at the announcement was priceless.

Henry Clay/Scott County predictions (11th Region Championship)

This one is too tough to call for me. Scott County looked like a team on a mission as they dismantled Madison Central yesterday while Henry Clay played some smooth basketball to earn their way into the final. Henry Clay are coming good at just the right time and you can always throw out past meetings in playoff games. I can see this one going down to the buzzer, possibly even overtime ball too.
