With all the upgrades to the football field does this mean that there isn't going to be a new one built at the new high school? Just curious

Not saying I don't believe you buddy just wondering why you are so sure about things or seem to be? And I agree with you booby they should have done had Coach Perry signed on the dotted line. Might just be a him trying to get his assistants together? Do you think his brother Eric would come and join him possibly? I sure hope they don't screw this up or I'll start having the same attitude as Booby Miles lol

Let me ask you this Booby .. Have you been turned down for a teaching position/ Coaching? Seems to me you think you know an awful lot or maybe lack there of?? Like BoyWonder stated all your post have been negative towards Garrard county especially if you so called "love" GC? I'm just a little confused buddy. Either you have been in the school system and got shafted or it's all he said she said Oscar Mayer Bologna.. With that being said the group of young men on the team this year can compete for a district title and make a run at region "if" they make the right hire and Jerry Perry would be a perfect fit.

I don't believe social media..Facebook ect was big back then. It was a constant bashing of Boyle county ..coaches and players not just a pre game thing. I was around him quite a bit! And I'm not saying in anyway that he's going to be the coach just pointing out a few things and everyone in the community that I know thinks highly of him. He got pretty lucky at Bourbon county and walked into a team with a lot of talent in a weak district.. Only time will tell how "great" of a coach he is

If Jon hodge don't want to come back home because of a few bad apples and social media then he can stay in Paris! I played for him when he was an assistant for Martin Bastin in middle school and he talked so much crap about Boyle County and how he hated everyone over there and just a few years later that's where he ended up. So who knows what will happen in the next few weeks. I'm like everyone else and want to see this program keep going in the right direction and not take a step back

Stoney took up for his players! And I was on the field that night and know what happened and why he got ejected as you sat in the stands and judged him I'm sure. You give Stoney the players Mark Scenters had and the district they got put in he would have did just as good or better. Judge Stoney all you want he is a hell of a ball coach and ide let my kids play for him any day. With all that being said and getting off topic a little.. I just hope whoever they hire plans to stick around and continue to build this program

Well as a former player and not just someone in the stands I thought he was a "great" offensive mind coach. Wasn't always the best play caller but he knew what had to be done and how to light a fire under our butts and we respected him

I played for Stoney at Garrard county 01-04 and thought he was one hell of a coach! Some people just didn't agree with how he did things and wanted it their way

Yeah Stoney is a great coach! I wasn't saying he left WC .. I was asking would he? I thought he was a great fit for Garrard county

Ide say you're right about that purple. Being an alumni we would love to see Jeff back in Lancaster .. What's everyone's thoughts on Steve Stonebraker leaving Woodford county? Or possibly John hodges younger brother Brian? He has a great football mind as well

I really hope they take their time and find the right guy for this job. I honestly believe they need to hire someone that plans to stick around and not just jump ship when another job comes available. The kids that will be coming threw the program the next few years are a really talented group and deserve a great coach. With that being said I know it's hard to find someone who will stick around for a long time unless it's a hometown guy that wants to be here and no just trying to build his resume for another job. I've heard some names around town like Hodge , Hester and Perry who all have ties to the community and might want to come back home.
