There’s already a thread about this game.
-
I’m sure Freddy D has gotten better since their first game as well. I can’t prove Freddy D is better than Boyle County and it can’t be proven that Boyle County is better than Freddy D. It’s simply my opinion that Freddy D is better than Boyle County right now. I’ve seen nothing that suggests that Boyle County is better than Freddy D or even South Warren at this point. My guy at South Warren says that they are 7-10 points better than Boyle County and he says he was watched a couple of Boyle County games on film.
Absolutely no bias in that opinion at all .

Frederick Douglass hasn’t played anyone to prove that they’re worthy of a top five ranking, and there’s no argument for their weak schedule. IMO Scott County will put a running clock on Freddy D.
-
Desales comfortably.
-
Ballard at Mercer....why?
Just curious....ok.
-
Debatable on the schedule. Eye test to me says FD is better and it's not that close.
So which Boyle game have you attended this year?
-
October 5th should answer that question better when they play Scott County.
You’re exactly right I think Scott wins comfortably.
-
Frederick Douglass seems to be in everyone’s top 5, but they have played a very weak schedule I’m not sold on how good they are until they play a top ranked team.
-
I heard Reese has a broken knuckle on his left hand will probably play defense but probably no offense for the next couple of weeks sounds better than a broken hand, Will know more on Tuesday.
-
No it won’t be.
I don’t think so either I’m leaning toward a running clock.
-
Any word on Reese Smith and Jackson Smith?
I was told Reese will not miss any games, but his touches could be limited over the next couple weeks as for Jackson I haven’t heard anything definite.

Covington Catholic, Male, Boyle County, Scott County, and Trinity, in no particular order.
-
Another part of the story that has not been mentioned from the Ryle game is that the Ryle running back Kyle England had 148 yards on 14 carries before he went out with an injury in the 2nd quarter. Also, Catholic's running game is suspect at best. Should be an interesting game.
I’m glad you pointed this out.
-
Boyle with a running clock early 3rd quarter, if Collins is planning on running the ball against Boyle they may not score until the JV comes in, of course this is just my opinion. On a side note Boyle beat Ballard by 14 and Ballard beat Collins by 32 common sense says it should be a running clock.

Saint X by 17-21 points.
-
Boyle comfortably.

I know this ain’t the right thread but LexCath’s schedule isn’t challenging at all. Going to be different when Reese Smith and company are lurking in the defensive backfield. That’s going to be a fun one!!!!
Exactly Lexington Catholic has played a very weak schedule and in no way will they be prepared for Boyle. You guys are right we’ll save this for another thread.

I think the Catholic Boyle game is going to be one heck of a game.
I don’t.
-
Ballard very easily could have beaten Boyle County as well. I don’t think this result necessarily indicates separation between Central and Boyle County.
IMO Sure it does.
-
Nah he’ll be back just not this year.
-
-
Hell nah. Second best.
I bet Covington Catholic puts a running clock on the Birds this year.

Is Covington Catholic not in northern Ky?
3A #1 Boyle County vs 6A North Hardin

Just talked to coach Leffew he said Reese would miss this Friday and their off next week then he will be back for the following game which I believe I believe is Garrard.
