Getting tired of hearing about the BW Frosh. Yes, they are good. But this team would not be anything without players from the Sophmore, Junior, and Senior class too. Its not a one man show. Suchanek has hit amazing, fielding amazing, and pitched amazing. Bertke and Schmidt have done well behind the plate. Parker has faired well for himself. Booth has a better glove than most of the 9th. Randolph has pitched very good for the tigers. Yes, the frosh are good, but there are other people being over looked.

Beechwood JV team finally loses, they are now 10-1. Beechwood did not play well and Campbell County took advantage of it.

From what i just read in the "Beechwood 8 Scott 4 Thread" this Beechwood team seems great. I've seen the JV twice and they were great, and only seen Varsity once. I guess i caught a bad day because what i'm reading, Beechwood is scary now and will be ridiculous in the next years.

It was Campbell Co. They played at NKU Saturday

JV Coach is Brad Stephenson and Nate Snyder. Varsity Head Coach is Bob Mullins.

Are you sure that was Campbell County? I'm thinking of something exactly the same but it was Boone County Beechwood.

Tigers scored two runs in the first. Hyde pitched 7 innings only giving up 3 hits and no earned runs. Boone County almost tied the game up in the seventh but they couldn't get it done. JV Tigers are now 5-0 including their win at St Henry later on today.

Since Varsity owns all the posts, and the frosh have their own thread, i thought i'd make this thread for all JV scores and news. Please post any scores or update on news. Have at it!

I was able to catch two Beechwood Baseball games today. Varsity played at Highlands and Jason Suchanek pitched the first Varsity game of the year. He threw a complete game and only gave up one run. He also hit a home run.

Then i went back to Beechwood and saw the JV team play Scott. Nick Hyde pitched the first JV game of the year. He threw 4 innings while giving up 1 hit and no runs. Kyle Rowe finished the jv game with 2 innings and 2 runs.

I couldn't stay for the second varsity game but Varsity won 2 games today, JV one 1, and the frosh won 1. Beechwood is looking good all around.

I think most of them are getting into playable conditions.

Beechwood's Pitchers will be solid this year and even better next year. They have good seniors this year like Schumann and Parker. The juniors have Suchanek and Randolph who are both good. Sophomores just have Hyde who is good. Then the freshman have Stringer Combs and Fieger who are all good. This team is deep in pitchers as any of these guys could start varsity. I didn't even name all of them, just the best.
