A retired environmental attorney and graduate professor, father to a fantastic Ethnic Kazakh (Central Asian ethnic group of mixed Mongolian and Turkish ancestry) daughter (2017 F, who plays for East Carter and Kentucky Premier), bilingual (English and Russian), blogger, Russian Orthodox Christian, former FB player at Russell High School-a school I have since renounced, an anti-bully, anti-human trafficking advocate, and a Human Rights/Civil rights advocate. I follow the Louisville Cardinals (where I graduated long ago), the New England Patriots (former WR Troy Brown is close friend), the Cincinnati Reds (and regretably the Bengals), Jeremy Lin (who isn't playing well in the NBA now, but is one of the few Asian American role models in basketball at any level and compassionately arranged a 30 minute video chat with my daughter when he learned she was the recipient of the same racial slurs he suffered at her age and up through his play in the Ivy League).
