Highlands will win this one easily. Holmes missing their top two defenders and their head coach.. I say highlands 6 or more to 0

Supposedly Beetle underwent surgery this morning - if I was told correctly! Praying for a speedy recovery! Hate that this happened to him!

Who wins and why?

Pretty good score for Holmes missing their head coach and their top two defenders
-
Brockhoff did receive a yellow about 20 minutes before the red.
Moses scored the first two quick after that they handled him pretty decent.
Holmes had mutilple opportunities to get back in the game just couldn't find the back of the net.
-
Not saying the red cards weren't earned, I was just saying that throughout the game as a whole there was bad officiating.
-
2-0 Beechwood at the half
Both goals by Moses and the third goal was on a PK with less than 2 to go in the second half
Red Cards for Beechwood : Moses
Red Cards for Holmes: brockhoff, bernal, parton and coach haggard.
I believe brockhoff Parton and haggard all got carded for running on the field bc of an escalation that seemed to be between bernal and Moses.
-
Yeah you read that right! 5 red cards!
-
Final! One of the worst officiated games I have seen!
5 red cards were given in the last 2 minutes of the game
2-3 yellow cards as well!
Refs didn't seem to have control of the game!
Both teams played great up until the end!
Congrats Beechwood on the win!

It just goes to show that you can't go off what other teams have done in other games. All depends on what team shows up to play.
-
I just saw Beechwood play yesterday against ncc and they lost 4-1; however, ncc didn't score until 10 minutes left in the first half and didn't score at all in the second half. Beechwood looked very good for most of the game besides those last 10 minutes of the first half.
Holmes held CovCath scoreless for the first 33 minutes and trailed 1-0 at the half! Tied it and then CovCath scored with 25 minutes left to take the lead then tackled on 3 more in the last seven minutes.

I don't think either team has a jv...do they?
I know Holmes does.
-
7 o'clock but I believe there is a JV game before
-
I agree with you completely! Holmes Beechwood and Holy Cross are all pretty even matched teams! All the match ups will be good games! It should be interesting how this will play out!
-
Holmes still has district seeding games for HC Beechwood and CovLat.
Holmes and Beechwood both played HC in tournament games so those games do not go toward district seeding.
So the 2-5 seeds are still to be determined.
This game is huge for both teams, bc no one wants to face CCH in the first round.
-
Beechwood (0-7)visits Holmes (1-4) on Thursday in a district seeding game! Who wins and why?
-
I
CovCath drops one spot after losing 1-0 to Elder....one of the best teams in Ohio.....and beating Holmes (not really in the rankings I know, 5-0)Beat Holmes 5-1 but the game was way better than what the score shows.

Canceled - Game tomorrow morning at 10

Under a Rain delay currently

Surprise of the night....
Holmes held CCH scoreless for the first 33 minutes I believe. Then trailed 1-0 at the half.
Came back and tied in the second half on a handball in the box by CCH. With 25 minutes to go CCH took the lead and didn't look back.
Holmes played extremely well, if they had more subs (only had 4 I was told) this game would of been closer! All of CCH goals came late in second half.

CCH 1 Holmes 0 at the half... Seems like a competitive game to me!

Holy Cross Indians won the Calvary invitational and is in the all a finals they have a great team this year lots of seniors with Alex Enzweiler, Nate Dogget and Kyle Krumpleman I have them winning the All A Finals Tommorow the the guidance of Hot headed David Groneck
Pretty sure Holy Cross placed third in the Calvary Invitational... If not mistaken they played Holmes in the 3rd place game and won 3-1.
They may not of lost a game in the tournament, but the way the tournament was set up they played in groups.
Holmes 4 Owen County 0
