  1. Ryle is a very talented team! Last year they almost knocked the Bulldogs off but a last second shot was waved off!

Holmes is a phenomenal team, should win this game without a doubt. But the way the Radiers have been playing, I don't see this as an easy win.

That's why I see it has a big game bc I hope the lady Radiers can test the Bulldogs!

I am a huge Holmes fan! I just think people don't give Ryle enough credit. They're a good team!

  2. I agree. I really would like to see Ryle protect the ball in this one. Because if they do, it really makes it a very interesting matchup. We'd get to see what you and I have hoped they have worked on. What happens when a team with size can protect the ball?? How does Holmes score? That's not a knock on them by any means...I am really curious. This will be a great test for both teams because both teams weaknesses are the other teams strengths.

Sorry to bring up weaknesses, but I'm just trying to have a darn conversation here!

I think this game will be a great learning game for both teams! I'm sure by the time tournament time is here both teams will be completely different.

    I'm excited for this one

  3. Ryle travels to Covington to take on The Lady Bulldogs of Holmes - who is the number one team in the 9th region right now.

Last season Holmes went to union and fought hard to come back and beat Ryle 50-45 in overtime!

This is going to be a great match up Friday night at 7:30! I know I'll be in attendance!

Who wins this game and why?

  4. I agree. If they keep doing the same thing, someone will get them. I'm not sure why they never work on their half court stuff when they are up big. They just continue to do the same thing when they are in blowouts. There are teams in the ninth that can control the tempo and protect the ball.

Thank you! Im not the only other person who sees this! I'm an advid bulldog fan! I love them. But it's something Perkins needs to invest in! If they do that, watch out. They could be state champs.

  5. Coaching aside, Holmes is the team to beat. IMO rest are playing for 2nd in the ninth. Could be back to back state champs out of Northern Ky!

I feel like this statement can be true IF the lady bulldogs develope a half court offense that can be effective! Last year they lost to HC bc they slowed down the tempo and forced Holmes to play a half court game! Something their not use too! So, with that being said, it will be interesting how Holmes holds up with teams who can slow down the tempo.

  6. I have not seen anyone here attacking Villa on here but it has been all over Twitter from the Dixie players even after they won.

& once again I will say this... The Villa players were attacking the Dixie players as well. Don't know who said what first or how it started but... It goes both ways, social media has gotten to this generation badly & it's sad.

  7. I'm not exactly sure why I am seeing all the complaints about Villa hosting and having to take the PK the next night because Villa did not have lights. The way I see it, that was a huge advantage for Dixie. Tuesday night Villa was able to keep Dixie from scoring for 90 minutes with a keeper who has never played goalie before. Villa had the momentum going into the PKs and it is ashame they did not have the chance to finish the game that night. I also believe that 2 of Dixie's players who were injured and taken out of the game the night before was able to take the PKs last night. It really is sad to see all the negative comments about Villa being the "dumbest hosts ever" on twitter from a Dixie player, they won the game. In my option it really shows a lack of class.

it's also sad to see villa players bashing Dixie as well on Twitter.

Goes to show you what social media can do these days, just sad.
