It was a lot like practice. Good job Indians. You guys are coming together nicely.

I really don't think it matters who they have. MOCO by 20!

Montgomery will have a close game in the 10th region. Don't think for a minute that the coaches in the 10th region won't be scheming against the Indians.
That would be called Coaching.

I would think that with Montgomery's guard play and having one of the best players in the state, that they could handle a possesion type game.
-
Someone said earlier that it was a 4 point game with 4 minutes left and Scott was without a couple of starters.
Was this a letdown game for Mongtomery?
I don't think so. MOCO was really rusty. It was also the first game back for Wallace and D. Jones was in foul trouble.

Montgomery County very sluggish tonight. Very evident that they had not played in a week. Also evident that Wallace was rusty from his suspension.
I agree. And with D Jones on the pine for at least 2 quarters, the Indians were really sluggish.

Lets keep in mind Mason County had the only facility that could host the crowds for this tournament until the last few years..............................the "powers" had every ability to play other places but kept it at the fieldhouse. Financially the entire region was huge beneficiaries.
I understand about the finances, but it still gave the edge to Mason every year!

I'm merely playing the devil's advocate here. I am a former coach and athletic director. Personally, I would like to see the Regional Tournament at Mason County every year, though Harrison County would be much more centrally located for the entire region. Harrison County could handle all the first round games, as could many other schools in the region. Could probably handle split session semis as well. Finals would be a different story. You never want to turn people away. Which is my exact point with Pendleton County hosting the 38th District Tournament. They could handle some games in the tournament, but not big games that draw lots of people....unless people choose not to come, thinking they won't be able to get in.
I dissagree! Mason has had the region handed to them on a silver platter for years. It wasnt until just a few years ago that the region was moved to a different gym. There is way too much riding on this tourney for a team to have home court advantage every year. Thank God the powers woke up and made them move it from time to time. I think the 10th should be played at NKU every year. Everyone would be even from the start, no matter how far the teams and fans had to travel. Its just fair!

If Henry Clay plays hard and as a team, then they should pull this one out. Ive seen them play one time this year and it was against Pulaski Southwestern. They put on a clinic! I thougt to myself, how have they lost a game. It was a great performance.

This game will be interesting to see. From what I hear, MOCO was playing really well before the fight happened. If they fall back into form, they should win handily.

Thanks so much!

Does anybody know the match ups, when, and where it is this year? And also who are the top teams in the 10th region this year?
