Former GRC assistant and I believe was helping Transylvania out. His family owns WKYT.
He didn't coach at GRC and his family doesn't own wkyt. His father was the general manager there for a few years. Good kid. It's in his genes.

They would have to change their policy for this to happen. Principals/Assistant Principals are not allowed to coach.
Is this a state policy or a Montgomery County policy?
-
I'm hearing Booher and Beetle a package deal at Montgomery.
-
Thacker would be a perfect fit. He can be an assistant principal and his son would make the indians a favorite to repeat in the 10th. That is if everybody returns next year.

If I'm applying for a job at Montgomery Co. HS, I'm worried about impressing 3 people: the Principal, the AD and maybe the Superintendent. I don't care what Joe Bob down at the bank thinks about me. Just my opinion.
If you think the parents of the studs and the bigger boosters(local business owners) in the community don't have a dog in the fight, then you are blind. I'm not saying this is right, i'm just saying this is the world we live in.

I predict they hire from within.
Who would that be?
-
I doubt they will hire within. Piersawl's whole fam is in mt. Sterling. But he did transfer in. As did Wallace.
-
I can't believe with all the talent in NKY, Hatton is the only kid to make the SR/JR all star team.
-
thanks for the update!!

Please tell me about Russell? Does he have ky ties? I'm lost.

I must have spoken to all NCC boys then? And y'all must be a bunch of post season geniuses? With NCC being ranked above Holmes at the end of the year, I guess it was a good call by y'all to have Holmes beating NCC in tourney play.
-
Everybody i spoke to at Rupp said they had the best team this year in the 9th.

Their best player might not guard Omar but they will be just as athletic and bigger. Wish him the best and hopefully he will not let physical play take himself out of periods during games as Ballard and John Hardin.
Agree, I'm just glad nobody in the 10th was good enough to handle Omar. Ballard and John Hardin did. But nobody in the region tourney could handle him. Especially Brossart and Scott. O well, it was a great year.

I was talking to Jay Bilas and Dicky V interrupted us, neither of them see Bolden playing above mid major.
That was awesome! HEHEHEHEHEHEHE

Bolden-Holmes
Wallace-Montgomery
Martin-Ballard
Justice-Knott Central
Bach-Augusta

I think Quan is the Key. If he shows up MadCentral has a great chance. But if he don't, I think Ballard has way too many weapons for Central to handle. I'm pulling for Central, but I'll take Ballard by 6

Let's not pretend Omar plays any different than the other best players. He can be as wild as the rest of them. I do think we found out why he is going to William &Mary and not a higher d1 school. How rough Ballard was will be the norm in college and he can't compete at that level. But as a high school player, it was a great ride and he deserves all the accolades he recidivism. I hope he has a great college career.
If Snider and Holland shoot even halfway decent, Ballard would have won going away.
Omar will be a good player at the next level. The last 3 games their opponent put their best player on him and they never let him breath and when that player got tired, they just put their next best defender on him, and so on and so on! And they do this because he is obviously their best scorer. At the next level, there will be 5 Omar's on the same team, so their opponents won't be able to do that, because they have 4 other players to worry about. So I feel he will be even better in college due to that very reason. He won't be keyed on every game, every possession. I'm not taking anything away from the other four starters for MOCO, but its just the way I feel.

Central should win by 10 plus. Hop town has no shooters. They can get up and down the floor but so can Central.

I could have swore I had a post on this thread?

Unreal victory, both Omar and t jones had 3 fouls in first half. Omar only had 11 and Montgomery still won. I wouldn't have believed that. Congrats boys!

Wow what a great game it was! Both Beetle and Hawkins were worth the price of admission. Both score a bunch. Both lead their teams! Only diff was the turnovers. I think Beetle made 8? Your point guard can't do that and expect to win. But they still almost did. But again he's just a soph. He has two more years. He's that good!

Why would he eat crow? He said neither team would dismantle the other and was correct. He was wrong about WC winning, but it was the competitive game he predicted.
He was all about WC. And how WC would win. He said it every other breath. Who cares if it was a close game? The outcome was not what he predicted. What are you, his daddy?
-
I never said he was better than Hawkins.
I simply said your logic of Hawkins being better cause he's a senior and Bolden's a sophomore makes no sense. Both are already D1 caliber players.
Hawkins reminds me a lot of Arrez Henderson.
Makes perfect sense. Give bolden two more years and he will be even better. Not as good as Hawkins yet.

Purple pride? Where you at big boy? Eating your Crow sandwich with sweet baby rays?
