They are tough, disciplined and welcoached (under the current coach) players. They are not out to put on a "show". Not a concern. If the seniors try to "show" Coach L CCH is in trouble. -
CCH beat Campbell County by a strong margin. Campbell County beat Brossart. Brossart beat Holmes. This year, the game goes to CCH. The presence of Coach L on the Holmes bench will provide additional motivation to the CCH players, especially the seniors. I expect big games from seniors Hayden, Massie and Cleve's.

CCH by 10. CCH's press will eat Holmes up. CCH also has a big coaching advantage over Holmes.

Hayed played 1:30 so I'm not sure how effective he was.
Conner Cleves is the best undersized 5 in NKY.
Hayden's still nursing a bad ankle. Good to see Cleve's getting quality minutes and Massie is improving and getting into basketball shape.

Tobler and Hayden handled BW's big men so easily -- they didn't need Hayden. CCH is the real deal.

Tobler and Hayden can easily handle BW's big men -- CCH wins 80 - 55.

Hayden wasn't in the box in the paper. Did he play?
No. Bad ankle.

Wow! Columbus East is a solid team.

I could also add Beuter and the other kid who I can't remember - 6'4 guard.
NCC is a legit threat for the 9th.
That would be Zach Ryan. Zach's a very good player. I think by the end of the year Tobler (CCH) and Hayden (CCH) will be in the mix of best players.

I think it will come down to Dixie and CCH. It's still early, but CCH handled Boone County easily. CCH has three keys for a deep run in the regionals -- defense, floor general and coaching.

The 3 big kids in the senior class quit or transferred. Hayden and Tobler will figure it out and CCH will be fine.
Killed on the boards.Outscored by 12 at the line.
Bad 3 point shooting.
Only 2 big kids in foul trouble all night.
Probably 50% from the line.
Lost by 3.

Here is some constructive advice for teams playing CCH this year. Bring 5 puke buckets and some portable oxygen.

Hayden played less than half the game and had 10 points, including a buzzer beater to put the game in OT and he scored the only points they had in OT. First significant playing time in 6-7 games coming back from injury. Good to see him back out there.
