The Tigers will be led by Seniors Nussbaum Tatro Marksberry and Maus.......Not many have heard of Marksberry or Tatro but they will be the key to shutting down CCH inside.

As the tigers host the colones tonight, I'm gonna go with the upset with the Tigers beating the colones. Jack Talley says "I'm pissed, Covcath is going down". The tigers have a lot of confidence heading into the game and the colones don't match up well compared to the physical tigers. Look for senior max nussenbaumn to play very physical tonight. In my opinion, the lousy colones don't have a shot to win this game. The guard play for the tigers is just to strong while the colones don't have guards that can win. Prediction for score 86-62 tigers on top.
Finally someone with some sense!

I always say, TZ, that one of the traits I respect most is loyalty - even though it can get in the way of common sense and good judgment.
Best of luck to your boys tonight. Whether you're on the floor playing or in the stands have fun . Should be a fun environment.
This Tiger team will play with a chip on their shoulder tonight. This could be very similar to the 2009 game with Romes, Beuttel etc.

Ok....then who shuts down Fredrick, Schuh, Tobler, Pauly, Heppler.....
Fieger, Huff, Maus, Marksberry and the Bright twins......Sorry fellas but its upset city tonight!!!!!

Nussbaum is shutting down Ruthsatz.........Beechwood in a shocker by 4
-
I think the Tigers win this game if they have Mitch Mckenzie.
-
If Jackson catches him just right I hope he can remember his name by saturday.
He will just read the front page of the paper "Fieger leads Tigers to state"
-
The legend of Fieger grows.....Tigers 28 Mayfield 21

Im hearing rumors of possible suspensions of some Beechwood players........anyone have the details?
-
Has Coach Mullins determined his staff?
From what I've heard through the grape vine:
Varsity: Bob Mullins Jimmy Booth John Morris
JV: Brad Stephenson Nathan Snyder
Freshman: ?
-
Someone needs to post a video of the hit Nussbaum laid on the TE...........its Youtube worthy.
-
Jason Suchanek should definitely be up there. The kid has started Varsity since the 8th grade and will be a big reason the Tigers have success next year!
-
I honestly find the brave heart idea a bit confusing and silly. The tigers tradition of doing a Red Out makes more sense. I think it just motivates the Tigers even more every year they do the Brave Heart idea. And, I say the tigers when 35-7 due to one thing, heart. The tigers are motivated and ready.

I like the tigers in this one.
Beechwood- 35
CCH- 7
-
Did he apply? That would be a big jump and a risky move by Beechwood IMO.
Don't know any information but he fit the description

Hearing there is a young coach at Scott they really like and feel he will be a great coach down the road if they don't get him now they may never. But he is a Inexperienced varsity coach. This comes from a source from the school. Hear there was a few former staff members as well.
At Scott or named Scott? Scott Sickmeier was the head Freshman Coach

The cch kids arent exactly angels on facebook and twitter though all kids should think before they post.

Who pitched for the tigers
-
I believe 1st pitch was at 5. Any one have any updates?
-
I think Nussbaum is fast/athletic enough to handle him IMO.To take down CCH, you must "cut the head from the snake". Ruthsatz is a very good player and runs that engine. He is very difficult to stop, especially in transition. He makes good decisions and his dribble penetration will gut a team. If I was preparing to play against him, I think I would run a chaser on him all night, even following him to get a drink. I don't think BW has anyone who can stop him (most teams don't). -
Big game tomorrow. CCH has the advantage with Ruthaz(sp) and Fredrick at the guards but the Tigers bring a height advantage with Maus Cruse and Mckenzie that could make this interesting. Thoughts?
-
Ruthsatz had 32. I think he missed 3 or 4 shots. Perfect from the line.
It will not be evident by the boxscore by Conner Cleves had another nice game. If you're open he'll find you. Sweet Pistol Pete behind-the-back pass from the foul line to the block.
Kid must be able to score. What high school did he come from?
-
Wasn't that off by my 58 50 prediction. Tigers will be a good team come January and February when everything clicks.

I think the tigers make it interesting. PC 58 Beechwood 50

Anyone heard anything about Suchanek? Might be small but the kid can whack the ball and plays great defense! Has been starting since his 8th grade year also. I feel like he'll be the leader for the Tigers this year.
