  1. You're expecting people to react rationally in the heat of the moment. Let's be honest, how often does that happen? Are saying when he was shot he couldn't have fallen back or off to one side? Look, I'm not taking one side or the other, just pointing out that what's being claimed by some as nearly impossible, really is much easier than you may think.

Anything is possible. Ask Antonio Alfonseca.

  2. Sure. If that's how it played out. I just don't believe his story and I anxiously await the proof that the story played out like it did. Just sounds far fetched to me.

Zimmerman story reminds me of the shirts the Jamaicans were wearing in Bad Boys 2 and in Jamaica when I went there. The story, like the shirts, has many, many holes.

Zimmerman said he was screaming. I'm saying it's Trayvon, after Zimmerman brandishes the weapon, after Trayvon and Zimmerman went at it "MMA-style" as a witness says. Zimmerman got out from the boy, they rise to their feet. Zimmerman panicked, realized he was short on time because he called police and fired. As I said, for him to have shot Trayvon from on his back, means he shot Trayvon, and removed himself from under Trayvon's dying body. After removing himself from under the body, he then straddles the body as it lie face down. I don't buy it, either. Any other scenario suggests that Trayvon was in a retreat or surrender mode or Zimmerman's life was not in danger as he was able to manuever himself out of Trayvon's advantage.

  3. 16 and a female virgin...that's your fault. I'm sure there are plenty of boys in the school or in the neighborhood up for the honor.

Now a better show than "I'm a 16-year old girl and a virgin" would be "I'm a 16 year old boy, and I am athletic, handsome, ESPN Top 25 recruit in football and always on the news Friday night and in the newspaper Saturday morning and I go to a public school - but I am still a virgin" - that's the show.

  4. Disagree. It's not at all hard to imagine. It's not that tough to reach your waist, grab your gun, unlock the safety, point and shoot. If you've never fired a gun, I can fathom your not understanding. If you have, I think you're kidding yourself.

But for all that to have happened, Zimmerman would have to have removed himself from under Trayvon's lifeless or near-lifeless body. Forensics will be able to tell whether or not Trayvon's body lay as if he were standing or on hhis knees at the time of the shooting. The angle of the entry wound will say a lot as well.

But I do disagree, it just seems unlikely to be able to reach for a gun with a guy on your chest, pounding your head in the ground. Especially, where trayvon's entry wound is. But the end point of UKM's point is missed. If you can do all that, just get the guy off of you. (Maybe Zimmerman did that, and then shot Trayvon while standing.) Hmmm.

  5. I just had no clue we had this many attorneys on Bluegrasspreps. The shame of it all is that there is little grasp on how the American legal system works. I hope I'm never on trial with about 50% of posters in this thread. Yikes.[/QUOTE]

Might as well be on the same jury. You paid the same money to join BGP. So apparently we both either make rational or irrational decisions.

  6. You won't see a response to that question. I have a limit on how much silliness I can reply to.

That is how I feel about your questions, yet I answer them, elder. Why? Because I love you as much as one straight man whom has never seen you and wouldn't know you if you came by and bit me on the nose, could love another man, elder.

Since you are so into supposition and want to assume that I have wacko theories, yank people's chain and want to suggest that you are not being partial and do not have your mind made up, elder I ask why such strong opinions when a black child is murdered? Does my constantly pushing the human element of this case get under your skin that bad, elder? How much do you empathize with Zimmerman, elder? Whom do you empathize with more, elder: Zimmerman or Martin's parents? When you first heard of this murder/incident/tragedy whatever, what were your initial thoughts, elder?

  7. Free advice: Your desire to be cute, humorous, and wordy distracts from any intelligent discussion that you put forth.

You could have a valid point on the set up but I can't wrap my ahead around the rest of the crap you put forth.

Everything is not for everyone. You have to be from it to know about it.

At some point, elder, you have confused me with a man whom likes to repeat himself. It gets old. Everything I've said in here, I've said in the first Trayvon thread, just recycled based on the wording of your ridiculous questions. BTW, you never answered is black life debateable to you? I've answered all your questions, withstood all your insults, slights, fake pyschoanalysis and yet you can't reciprocate the love. What gives, elder? Answer my questions proposed to you.

  9. The reason why your 16 year old son can't whip you is because you have your grown man strength. he can lift all the weights he wants to, but your grown man strength can still handle your son. Basically, when I was 28, a kid slim as Trayvon would get killed - with my bare hands if we were to scuffle.

  10. Just to be accurate, the ACT does NOT punish you for guessing wrong.

Back to your regularly scheduled thread. :D

I stand corrected. Have no problem admitting when I am wrong.

But the point is Zimmerman profiled incorrectly, and therefore guessed. needs to be punished.

  11. To be clear is this an 85 FACT or is this a supposition because it sounds like a wacked out theory.

Call it what you want elder, but I've felt during the 9-1-1 calls saying Trayvoin had erractic behavior, Zimmerman was setting his scene. Now the video of Trayvon has the boy walking and acting fine. Go check the first thread. You like me, don't you. You wanna be in front of one day and watch icon repy to threads. Yes you do, elder.

  12. Look, 85 thinks he's breaking news here. No one with a brain disagrees with any of the above.

Quite the contrary, elder. Go through the first Trayvon thread. I said the same thing and several posters quickly disagreed. Some of those posters were in this same thread agreeing with you. So in regards to the brain thing, elder...

  13. Nobody cares about black on black killings. A black person was just shot by another black person right now. Life goes on.

If a black man was a neighborhood watch wannabe cop that shot and killed an unarmed white 17 year old kid who looked similar to the suspects of a group of white kids who have been breaking into homes in the neighborhood the black man would have been in jail since day one with murder one charges even if the white kid was on top of the screaming black man pounding his head into the pavement 'MMA style'. To believe otherwise displays your naïveté to race relations in this nation.

It would make a huge difference if Trayvon was 25.

The fact that it took the police a month to arrest Zimmerman plays a large part also. They arrest him one day one and charge him on day one then this thread doesn't exist.

    Zimmerman is white.

Zimmerman even admitted to thinking Trayvon was older. Once again, profiling incorrectly. He has not been trained to profile. Nobody should be trained in it because the FBI doesn't support it. Ask the Cincinnati police what happened to them when they told the FBI that they profile. FBI cut funding and made the CPD sign a collaborative agreement that included a citizen review panel. It got ugly while I was there. Not sure of the remnants.
