  1. I don't know what your on but you better hope you don't get pulled over or drug tested. Lol

Bottom line is this. If you have so much against how the program is now then cheer for WV. If not cheer for the BRAVES and be positive. Don't hide out until something goes wrong and then jump on the band wagon against the team or the coach. People who have no clue what it takes to be successful should wake up and realize this...."you didn't accomplish anything that this braves team and players did" Hicks is the coach... Deal with it!

  2. Both coaches do a great job. They had their guys ready to play. One of the best district games I've seen in the 32nd in recent memory. The players played their guts out. Great players stepped up and played well in a big game. You couldn't ask for more. I only wish there could be two winners in a situation like that but there is not. Great win by S.K. and I don't think anyone wants to play either team in the regions next week.

  3. Are you kidding me. You have to be crazy if you think Coach Hicks is not liked or respected in Grant County.

My post was sarcastic. I'm on your side jaws. I just think its funny how fast we jump on coaches who are successful, hicks or Steiner. I think they both do a good job. Leave Steiner alone. He's successful. That's coming from a grant county fan too!

  4. I have to say that a couple of weeks ago someone posted that Loyde was an underachieving team. I must be honest in saying I disagreed. I didn't think that they were very good at all. Athletes yes but I didn't feel they were a very solid basketball team to begin with to be considered underachievers. Boy was I wrong, Great win by the Juggs and good call on this team... Whoever it was!

  5. My team was sent home...earlier than expected I might add. Not happy about it but the bottom line is Grant won when most people didn't think they would, or even could. I try to look at things from both sides of the fence. We won the district last year and returned all major contributors. Yes we (most everyone in Walton) thought that we had more than enough talent to repeat, at least return to regionals. That didn't happen. I don't blame Grant fans and players for being excited over the victory. Walton has more talented players and we have been better than Grant all year (not talking bad about Grants players) but the gospel is the gospel and last night the outcome went to the team who A. had a better game plan. and B. was just flat out tougher. The last point I would like to make is on the statement Old School made. If Grants kids did act like they had not been in that situation before, It was because they haven't. None of the players at Grant County have ever played in the regional tournament before.
