This has probably been covered in other threads, so I apologize if it has. I just found this out and it may even be accurate. I heard over the weekend that HC has a kid on their team from Cincinnati. Is that true? If so, how does that work?

I agree Bir and Barker top of the list in NKY, I was trying to say as much as Holy Cross throws the ball and by evidence of Arlinghaus at Lou and Fuller who will play somewhere at next level, whoever is H.C qb will put up stats and get college looks. Who is going to be Scott QB next year? Are they going to be improved ??

Is Cody Gohs playing this year? I had heard that he wasn't. Beechwood would really miss him this spring. Everybody loves the "Bobcat", unless you have to pitch to him..........quickest bat around.

It just doesn't seem right that the catholic schools can get away with things that the others can not. If that is indeed the case.

I watched Beechwood play Conner on Saturday afternoon. Not very impressive.

If Cooper can get a spot up 3pt threat they can make some noise. I see a bunch of tough hard nosed kids who play hard and are gaining tons of confidence. Coach Sullivan is doing a great job out there.

After a year and some people are still bitter that their son gets kicked off the 2010 team. It isn't this class that thought they were bigger than the program and decided to not attend practice. Grow up!

With what the Mayfield fans say and what Massy's predicts, I dont think that Beechwood should even show up. Matter of fact, the state should consider just ending the playoffs and just give them the trophy now.

I will not argue that the officials stunk.

I don't feel the score tells the truth about what a great game it was. Typical Beechwood /Frankfort game. Depth wearing down the Panthers and Panther mistakes.

 

Turning point in the game for me is after FHS recovered an onside kick and a chance to go down and close the game to under 5 points the Panthers have a bad snap and fumble the football. Beechwood scores and now FHS has to start doing things not inside the game plan.

 

Officials blew a big call in the first quarter. I thought the missed a pass interference call that would have been huge FHS would have been up 7-0.

 

I really believe that my Panthers are closing the gap and on the verge of getting the Tigers.

Really? You got every call tonight. You have no complaints. I would LOVE to see the penalty counts for each team. I would be willing to bet that we have more than 2 times as many as you. Those 5 guys had no business being in a regional final game. Zero! All were about 50 lbs overweight; except the umpire and he couldn't stop throwing the flag. I wonder if Jullian Tackett watches those games? For their sake, I hope not!

The "freshman" class notation has been a running joke all year for lack of other fodder until................the freshman went and won again this year. Out of curiousity, and for fun, we should post the freshman records next to the final top 10 and see how that correlates. I might have some research material for my doctoral dissertation.

Let's be clear. This years team won the small school championship. This year seniors won the BIG SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP!
