Lewis beat Pendleton 66-53.

Who makes the lineup? Who leaves the starting pitcher in for 4 innings and 6 runs? Who made the same mistakes last year vs Russell? Who should be there to pick these kids up when they make errors, strikeouts, etc... not scream at them before each inning. You have to have the respect from your players and the baseball knowledge to teach and instruct them. Anything but a typical fan.

6 runs in 4 innings, How many were earned runs? Answer - "0". Lewis had 4 hits all in the 2,3, and 4 hole, Who you going to move? Let's here what you would change!!

How many errors did the coach make? How many times did he strikeout? Typical fan/parent mentality.

I guess he coached a great game when they beat Ashland.

He says that the people close to the situation have been bragging about who the next coach will be and they feel that the admin feels that they blew it out of the water, grand slam, yayaya... People who are important to the team are being told that they will 'LOVE' the new coach.

BCG will be gone, and Uk is talking with or has talked to Billy D and/or Calipari. I believe that BCG wants out also, look for him to head back west for an opening.

I know Lewis will believe they have a chance, but after all said and done, no matter the outcome, it will be something these kids and coaches can build on for the years to come. They have a young team and getting a lot of expierence and hopefully makes them hungry to get back to the region finals in the near future. They have some good young athletes coming thru the program and Coach Hampton has some high expectations for them!!!

Mike Terry is by no means one of the best in the 16th Elliott starts 5 better than him!

Congrats to the Ashland Kittens. Let me say that the following had nothing to do with the outcome of the game, but anybody that complained to get the officials switched needs to reconsider. Ten minutes into the second half and only 4 fouls on both teams put together were called, you talk about letting them play. Why not just save the gas and keep our officials close to the house?

Did the coaches vote to switch officials? I don't like it, what about the officials, I could not imagine that the refs wanted to do all that traveling!!!

Jay Fite would be a good fit.

The Fleming County administration made it clear that they would hire Coach Graham when Coach Kelly retired,had he gotten his certification, which he never did.

They probably wish they had just hired him and forgot about the certification!!!:thumb:

I agree, but normally the defensive guys don't make all-tourney teams, which is ashame, because Pruitt deserved it after the effort he had on the defensive end of both games!!!! But knowing him, he could care less as long as they won, he is a top notch student athlete!

Any of the 4 could come out of the top bracket to play Elliott in finals!!
