  1. Had a conversation with my girlfriend about Apple Pay the other day. I'll preface by mentioning neither one of us use it, even though it's readily available on our phones.

Conclusion: Women will eventually love it, as they don't have to dig through their purses and hundreds of credit/gift cards to find their preferred card.

Men will be resistant, as it is much easier to pull out a wallet where each and every one of us men have our most preferred payment method in the most convenient and most accessible slot in our wallets/money clips and swipe.

  2. While it sounds all nice and dandy to eliminate all of the morons who use heroin, think about all of the children that would be left with no family if you immediately killed off hundreds or thousands of moms and dads. I'm sure UKMF will tell us they'd be better off under someone else's supervision, but it's just not always the case. Some are loving parents who made dumb decisions in their past. I have been assigned hundreds of patients over the past year or so with heroin addictions (mainly those that have endocarditis due to IV drug use) and I can tell you not all of them deserve to be left to die.

  3. Not going to lie, I've never heard of him, but sounds like a good get. Need to brush up on my 2016 class knowledge I guess.

He's been on their radar for months as a plan B for when Bridges goes to MSU. If the Cats land Fox, who looks to be somewhere close to John Wall level talent, and Monk they will be sitting pretty.

  4. I think you're missing the point. The two aren't comparable unless you're talking about moonshine or bootlegged alcohol when you refer to alcohol, which is illegal. One is regulated and people are able to know exactly what they're consuming, the other is not. Has nothing to do with how much someone consumes, it has to do with being able to know how much is actually being consumed.

So what about home brewing your own beer? Regulated? Making your own wine? Regulated?

I'm not going to continue to argue with you as this is the wrong thread for it.

  5. But alcohol is regulated. You know exactly what proof, how much alcohol is in a beverage. You're talking about consumption which is completely different. So no they're not the same.

So if THC is regulated, what's keeping someone from smoking 12 or 15 joints like someone smokes 12 beers? It is the same. Also, what would be more dangerous to drive on? I'm not so sure. I'm not here claiming it'd be safer to drive on 12 joints of pot over 12 beers, I'm just saying if pot is illegal, alcohol should be too.

  6. Which is part of the reason it's still not legal in my opinion.

So why is alcohol legal? You can drink as much of that as you want to get as drunk as you want...even until you literally stop breathing or you go into cardiac arrest. Should be illegal, right?

Sorry for thread jacking. Just wanted to prove a point or two.
