  1. We can beat them, but we are going to have to do something about our offense. Our STARTING defense has given up one TD in three game, and it came after a turnover around the red-zone. I hate to say this, but I wonder if either team can beat the other twice. The way the playoffs are this season, I think? it is going to be a second round matchup unless Apollo has something to say about it.

Henderson County has a nice team. North Hardin did a great job of containing Lightfoot. He is a nice back and without him, Henderson will not look go at all. The block punt won the game for Henderson and when North sovles its offensive issues, hopefully they will have a chance to meet up with the Colonels again.

  2. What is Autry's health status for the Henderson County game? Did he play QB against PRP? He certainly makes a lot of difference to the Trojan team.

    Oxnard,

The Trojans are struggling with an offensive identity. A young and inexperienced line is proving that you can't do much no matter what offensive you run.

Autrey needs to sit out, but he will make that decision. The Trojans will have a bye week going into district play.

  3. PRP made many mistakes again in the red zone in this game. PRP rushed for around 350 yds in this game but continues to make red zone mistakes.

PRP also lost their QB in this game to a separated shoulder (out 3 wks). The scored their last TD with their backup in the game. This could mean trouble for the Panthers down the road.

Prp has a solid team and had a great game plan for North Hardin. First of all PRP had a total of 337 yds of total offense. 251 rushing, 86 pass. Far from 350yd RUSHing.

PRP will struggle without their QB. North Hardin should have won that game. The defensive unit had a let down on one series that cost them the game.

PRP did make alot of errors in the red zone and two personal fouls didn't help either.

  4. I do this every year and everyone seems to enjoy viewing this list. With the college games kicking off soon, I feel like we should recognize these players who gave us all something to their respective high schools and cities. This is my own independent research so I do apologize if I've left off anyone or misspelled something.

That was very entertaining, thanks for the hard work.

  5. I didn't get that listening to them although I will agree that they were hard on the QB. They also tend to be homers and if they were saying that QB was struggling then it was more than likely accurate.

    Any Stats on the Game?

Team Stats Whitley Co-96yds Rush (Jefferies 17 carries-61 yds)

North Hard- 237yds Rush (Terry 20 carries- 134yds)

    Whitley Co Passing-179 yds (McCumbers 13-30 4-int 161 yds)

North Hardin Passing- 84 yds (Autrey 6-11 1-int 80 yds)

Whitley Co 8 fumbles lost 2

North Hardin 4 fumbles lost 2

  6. Whitley County had a solid performance, but couldn't match the speed of North Hardin.

Whitley County's offensive and defensive line is LEGIT. North had a hard time running the ball in the middle. Actually is wasn't happening, so North went outside and pass the ball.

Whitley's passing game was excellent. QB is very accurate and athletic. When North was able to get pressure, then the wheels fell of the Whitley Co machine.

North Hardin's made Whitley turnover the ball, example 2 Interceptions for TD's, 1 fumble recovery for TD. Whitley short passing game and screens are very effective. North was able to tip several passes.

Good win at home for the Trojans.

  7. North Hardin is a preseason top 10 in most 4A polls. I do not know much about them but, based on everything I have read they are good. For Whitley it is going to be pretty much the same story as last week. Whitley has to be effective on the offensive and defensive lines to win. Whitley's line is the heart of the team. It is composed of primarily very experienced seniors that have worked their buts off to be good. If McCumbers has time to throw Whitley will move the ball. If Whitleys D-line can contain the ends and pressure the North Hardin QB forcing North Hardin into a power running game, Whitley will have a chance to win. If the corners break down or if the D-line cannot pressure the QB resulting in 1 on 1 coverage in the secondary, Whitley will have a long night. Due to injury, Whitley is going to have trouble matching up with quickness.

What is the size of their offensive line? I see one young man is 6'6" 250lbs.
