Second game probably wont start until closer to 8 or 8:30, they are hoping to have most of the 1990 state runner up team their between games, that is the reason Highlands is playing first, Mike Flynn coached that team, and his assistant was Coach Riley who coaches Warren Central will all be in attendance. Also nice having Simon Kenton, the other Northern Ky State winner.

If weather permits, this game is scheduled to be on radio tonight, 1160 AM.
-
You are right, I appoligize for that I was just trying to answer the question, but you are right, good luck to all teams and have a safe trip, hopefully the weather holds off.
-
They only suspended him until Friday, so that left it up to the coach I believe, and since this trip is not paid for by the school, I dont know if the suspinsion is in affect. So in other words I really dont know if he will be there or not.
-
I do know that he was suspended, but do not know if he was kicked off the team.
-
Ockerman boys swept Grant County. All three where pretty much blowouts.
-
He has some help, are they to Brennan's level? No but who is in the 7th grade both point guards are solid and they have 4 or 5 guys who burry the 3 ball, he is head and shoulders better than anyone on his team but they are pretty good players too.
-
Thanks looking forward to seeing it again.

When will the game be on tv?
-
Ockermans 8th grade boys won in another thriller, beating Gray in overtime, this moves Ockermans 7th and 8th grade both to 3-0 in district play.
-
Conner beat Ockermans 8th grade boys by 2 in a heck of a ballgame Ockerman lead most of the game, but lost by 2. In the 7th grade game Ockerman won handily.
-
Boone in a close one. Boone County 59 Covington Cath 54. This game is also on 1160 am .
-
Dixie wins big. Dixie 67 Lloyd 42
-
Ockerman swept Camp Ernst on the boys side with both the 6th and 8th grade games going to the wire, 7th won pretty handily.
-
Holmes by 11. Also this game is on 1160am tonight.
-
Yes they are going to try and put at least the 7th and 8th grade teams in it this year, last year they tried to enter and it was full, so hopefully they can get in this year. The 8th grade team is good, but the 7th grade team is really good, I have not seen a game within 15 points in 2 years. Most games the subs play just as much as the starters.
-
Ockerman Middle School's 8th grade boys are now 11-3. They play Conner tom. night. The 7th grade boys are 14-0 and did not lose last year.

This game is on 1160 am.

This should be a good game. Holmes has to travel, which will favor Bourbon Co. The weather may also play a part. If it stays dry it is to Holmes' advantage. I don't think Bourbon has seen the speed that they will see Friday against Holmes. Holmes is very small and quick. I will take the dogs 28-21.

It may be a little early for a true poll , after number one, their is a lot of choices.
1) Highlands
2) SK
3) Ryle
4) Conner
5) Dixie
6) Boone
7) Holy Cross
8) Beechwood
9) Holmes
10) Campbell/ Cov Cath

Holmes 21 Cooper 14, Holmes has so much speed and they are fun to watch, I think Cooper will keep it close, congrats to both teams on being 2-0.
-
Looks like it might be Bourbon Co. and Holmes fighting for the top spot in this district, congrats to Bourbon Co.
-
I think Holmes had a big advantage where Boone Co. did not have becasue most of Holmes players have been in the games at Rupp before and played in front of those large crowds, in fact I think that gave Holmes an advantage over a lot of schools that were in the sweet 16, that being said, no one knows but I think Boone may have lost their first game, but I would have been rooting for the Rebels just the same and Boone will be very good again next year as will be Highlands and Holmes.

I was very impressed with Christian County, they are quick, that No. 11 is the quickist player i have seen since Dicky Beal, Go Dogs and good luck against Lex Cath.
