This would have been easier if a certain site was updated.

CovCath also shut out Highlands, 52 - 0, in the 2017 regular season.
You are correct. I missed 2017 when checking Riherds. Remarkably, we didn't get shutout during the 3-8 season.

:o :ohbrother: :lol2:
OK. That didn't take much digging. How long before that?
Before that it was LexCath in the regional finals in 2005.
-
When was the last time HHS has been shut-out?
Last time was last year in the regional finals against CovCath (36-0).

I agree and think the running clock rule needs to be change. Catholic was only a TD from it in the first half. IMO the clock should stop when the score gets back under the 36 points.
Ten or so states don't have a mercy rule and most states that do the running clock starts at the beginning of the second half regardless of the spread in the first half. one year in the playoffs Highlands had a running clock on Boyd County in the first quarter.

I thought Wilson Kelly was the main reason for all the bad snaps the Highlands center had. Hard to move the chains when the QB picks the ball off the ground like he did. I think Highlands had 10 plays for a loss tonight.
That actually is an improvement from the Ryle game with 10 or 11 sacks and 17 total plays for loss.

I listened to Marty as a boy on my transistor radio and it is just sad to see him go. Sure makes me feel old.
Waite Hoyt was the guy I listened to as a kid so you can guess how old I feel (and actually am).

I don't even have a problem with the backups passing if that is your offense. If he is getting game speed experience he might as well get it doing what he'll need to do when his turn comes.

I am sitting within two feet of two firearms, two knives, and a special surprise.
My kind of house. I'd much rather have my weapons and not need them than need them and not have them.
