redbird girls really do have talent, last year was hard for them because they lost a very good inside player who just quit one day. However the lady cardinal girls have two seniors girls who have been playing together since 5th grade. Kelsey Dickerson is a very talented point guard who works very hard, great rebounder, plays hard defense and all around husler. Kelsey can drive in the middle and is not afraid to bang aroung with the big girls in the paint. Whitney Elam is a great sharp shooter last year she aver. 2 three pointers a game and made 55 for the season, great at the free throw line, and this 5'5 south paw has quick hands on defense. Whitney is no doubt one of the best shooters in the 13th region. The redbird girls just need to work hard and believe in each other and their coach who has been with them from the begining when they were first learning which goal to shoot at. Redbird girls will surprise some people this year, they do have the talent and the heart.
