Seriously? Dust? That's your excuse? That's weak. Bracken played a pretty good game aside from a couple of clueless penalties. This is insulting to the players.

Geez, do I even live in this state?:(

Same field, same dry fall bare spots, same dust for last 55 years. I know of what I speak.
Yeah, it looked like a football field. I hate the turf fields, but they do allow for a more consistent game. This looked and played old school. Thankfully there are a few still around.

These kids work hard and love the sport. Don't bash kids cause you don't like one adult.
Yeah, that's exactly what I intended to do. Nice over-reaction, Joe.

First of all, let me say that I'm five years out of the loop here, as my last child graduated in 2011. Secondly, this is going just as predicted here two years back, a rough patch in the road after a decade of dominance. I don't feel bad for any of the adults who are living through this because they knew what they were getting into. I do feel bad for the kids, upperclassmen especially. This has got to be some bad tasting medicine for something they didn't know they had. Do I think they'll return to the bull in the china shop program that they were through the 2000's? No, that kind of thing would be tough to duplicate. Do I think that Highlands will be the new homecoming school for Northern Kentucky? Schedule them for your homecoming and find out. Just don't expect to see too many happy faces at the dance.

Although he didn't get many touches, the kid who impressed me a lot was #10 Bradley Moore. On a couple of occasions with drives threatening to stall he took the ball and picked up a first down, including the clinching touchdown drive in the fourth quarter.

Have they played a team yet with a winning record?
No, but they don't schedule 2A schools.

I've heard no chatter about Grant this year. I don't see them sneaking up on the Colonels.
