So, basically they just reported on something without confirmation? Did they learn that in the Dan Rather School of Journalism?
They had one confirmation. Apparently that goes against their vetting process.
Are you saying that tells us it was a lie?

I'm in the same boat as most of the politicians...........I don't really have a clue, but at least I am willing to admit it.:sssh:

6'3 3* QB Ben Bryant has committed to UC. Former Wisconsin commit, who also had offers from Georgia, Ole Miss, and West Va.
Is this the kid that committed to Bucky but then they rescinded it b/c he got another offer or took a visit?

Are we saying that if a person is culpable in their health issue (ie heroin OD) that taxpayers should not be on the hook? Is that true for fat people who have heart attacks? Smokers who get cancer? Drunks who crash their cars?
And if they're at the hospital and can't pay (as someone suggested earlier as something to consider) what do we do? Put them in jail?
I realize we all are spread on on the religion spectrum but for those of you who claim to be Christians I'd ask you to think about the teachings of your bible and see if you're aligned properly.
Of course, I also think you don't punish the child of a welfare recipient but I know that's not a universal belief on BGP.

In 2016 in KY almost 4 people died from a drug overdose EVERY DAY.

I guess that depends on what your definition of a lie is........
They said they didn't get the normal confirmation that is required. Could be true. May not. They certainly didn't say the story was incorrect.

It just keeps getting better. They should all be fired for lying.

The Reds tied a team record on Sunday for consecutive games allowing a HR.
Down goes the record.
19 in a row as of Monday.

Also remember that when you hear about "cuts" that doesn't mean "less than now." It means "less than proposed."

CBO says 22M will be uninsured by 2026 with this proposed bill. 15M by next year.

The passing of the first one is the reason we are in the mess we're in now. I'm not going to play partisan politics here. The first one was stupid, this one seems stupid. To pretend the first one was any better is simply pretentious. We need to start being honest with one another and ourselves and put aside party line and get something done that's going to fix the problems. Bickering on which is worse is going to change nothing and is going to fix nothing. We all need to admit to ourselves what's right and what's wrong. We need a real fix and we need both sides to participate. Until then skyrocketing Healthcare will continue.
I've already stated the first one had some serious issues - mainly the fact they negotiated away one of the key factors needed to help it be more successful - so I'm not defending anything.
My point was in response to your comment about how fast the first one was passed. This one wasn't even allowed to come to light until Thursday with a vote this week.

The original ban was a 90-day ban which was needed to do vetting.
We're past 90 days. How does that, if in any way, factor into the SCOTUS decision?
-
SCOTUS will hear the case in October.
Until then the SCOTUS has allowed the ban to be in effect other than for people who have a close familial relationship with someone in the US.

If it's not going fix healthcare, then I'm glad it isn't getting rammed through like the Dems did with Obamacare. Everyone should be.
If this bill gets passed it will make the previous process look like glacier movement.

No argument. They were fired for not following proper process.
Does that mean they lied?
