I thought both Clark and Montgomery played well. No degrading remarks from me.
Did not mean to degrade anyone, he is a great player, just heard so much about how he played and maybe it came out wrong in post.

Close game until fourth quarter, Clark Co pulled away at the end. Well played by both teams, little disappointed in the Steinzel kid's play was expecting alot more.

Does Montgomery County play any 8th or 7th graders on Freshman team? Some schools will do this and some don't.
MC plays one a Prewitt kid.
-
Does Fleming County play a lot of those outstanding 8th graders on the freshman team?
I hope not , they are suffering this year.

Had read on here that the Montgomery freshman were one of, if not the best in the 10th region, believe they beat Mason County and Clark County. Which leads to the question, what has happened to Montgomery County basketball over the last few weeks, back to back 35 point losses by the varsity and now freshman get tripped up by the Polar Bears.
One of those games where Bracken hit everything from last second half court shot at half time to silly shots thrown up that went in, MC shot around 25 percent and missed lay ups. The third time these teams met, one out of three not bad, not taking anything from Bracken Co they played hard. MC stepped it up for Fleming Co the next game, won by 7. :ylsuper:

Great win by the ladycats!!!!!!!

Menifee has had a great year, but Elliott way to much in this one.:isurrender:

This is going to start a trend of schools lowering a class if they can't compete, this will be a loop hole and I think that when teams figure out how to manipulate the system there will be a total overhaul.

7-10 from three point
Good win by tribe, Robinson was lights out from 3 point range.:dancingpa

Made it out to watch Montgomery and Clark Freshman do battle last night. Montgomery led by 8 at the half, Clark came back and won by 6. Someone said Clark was missing a starter, may have been Robbie Stenzels little brother. Two pretty good teams.
I think so, Montgomery without a starter also a Mannning kid. Heard it was a great game.

I am a fan, and I saw them play Bath County, and at times looked real good. Seem to be playing better as of late. There defense is coming around. I still think the Walker kid even as a freshman will be the key towards the end. She is improving.
Great keep all of us posted.

Congrats to Chelsea and the lady wildcats.

They have had 4 years to show their skills. If they were college material, surely someone would have picked up on it.
The Border Bowl is full of small college scouts that do not get a chance to see these kids until a bowl game, and yes alot of these kids are college material.

Any word on whether or not the Williams kid from GRC will be playing? He's on the roster but I had heard he would not be in action.
From the looks of the basketball thread he will be playing football on saturday.

Good group of kids that coach Wilson has playing hard, hopefully they stick together for a bright future. Do they have some kids hurt, or not make it this year?
