I think it's one and two A teams anyway.
-
His slump is around .350 anyway.
-
Is NCC still class A?
I know in football they are AA but they're in the classic this year.
-
For once I will have to agree with you. The second baseman is very weak for CCH this year.:thumb::dancingpa:D
Haha thats a first time agreement between you and me, so it must be true.
-
Beechwood will be a contender, but I agree that LCA will be the top team and the favorite if cleared.
-
St.Henry today maybe, winner of that would play winner of NCC/Holy Cross
Thursday...anyone know for sure?
I believe it is HC today then the winner of NCC/SHDHS. But not 100% sure.
-
Disagree. The second baseman had about 6 putouts with one error in which the ball couldn't be found in his glove.
I'm not sure why you disagree. Everyone else on this site knows Lafever is weak. And do you mean assist where he throws the ball to another player for an out or putouts where he actually tags the base or runner for an out. I'm not really sure because you sound inaccurate about most baseball things.

Scott as a team will suprise, they return 4 of 5 starters and 6 of the top 8, they will make a deep run come march.
Who do they return?
-
Well, after speaking to Snyder's mom she said that her son had zero focus on the game. Earlier that day Myerhoff and the team headed to go give Coach Brown a contribution. But at that visitation Snyder started to think about how the last time he saw his father was at a visitation, so Snyder was having a difficult time focusing on the game. But Bellevue did a great job with the bats untill Larrimore came into and shut them down.

Badin's a good team. Huge win for Cov Cath.
I've never heard of them. Where they from?
-
These scores are getting real big.
-
2B is now a strength for CCH? Weren't you the one in another recent thread commenting on all of the fielding woes CCH has had at that position? (Actually, I'll answer my own question - yes, you were).
But now they switched Lafever to the second base position. So second base is taken care of.:thumb::lol::lol:

HR count- Adam Gohs (Beechwood) 3. He seems to be the leader right now.
Gohs is probably the most underrated hitter in the region this year. IMO most underrated so far, but the season will unfold the true sleepers.

Actually Murray is a position player, at least for Scott that is. He has always been at shortstop (since his soph year, now a junior).
From what I saw in summer ball he was playing for the Erlanger Lions and playing CF but now I see him playing SS for Scott. But thanks for clearing that up.:thumb:

Sounds to me like evryeone seems to think Brossart will win it so Im not sure what you mean by making this statement.
It seems Brossart is playing well. They hung in there with Elder...
-
What position does Murray usually play? I know he is more of a utility player than a standard position player.
-
Wow! i didn't expect it to be that close for the Mustangs. They have been playing better the last few games.Who pitched for Brossart?
I believe Josh Anderson threw a couple of innings and only gave up two. Mustangs we're winning in the fifth 1 to 0 but i guess Elder really turned it on.
-
Rough game for the starting pitcher Snyder. Anyone heard how he did so bad, was he off or Bellevue bats were alive?
-
I hate to sound mean but is Eminence an elementry school?
-
Cole Sturgeon is one of my top picks in this class.
-
Past a couple of kids bed times.
-
I agree with that but one of the biggest problems Holmes has had these past few years is getting the kids to come out who can actually play. With the success of the basketball program, several kids who could without a doubt be contributors on the football field are staying away because of risk of injury. (Braeon Avery, Arrez Henderson...both played their freshman year but didn't come back for risk of injury that could hurt their basketball careers)
Bottom line is this, until Holmes starts winning, they won't get the athletes and kids out that can make Holmes a contender. I really hope Lickert can change that though.
You have to think with Henderson at RB and Rico Johnson at WR, they would have been tough to beat.
-
Not too much of a suprise to me, especially with Nichols on the mound.
I don't even think they needed Nichols to win this one.
-
Conner dominated this game on both sides.... Cov Cath's pitching was far from impressive and Conner took advantage... #13 and #17 from Conner kept the Cov Cath hitters at bay
Not only is pitching not where it usually is for CCH but the middle of the infield is not as strong as it normally is, mainly at second.

Big rivalry game here. Been going on for years. Any stats?
