You guys forget that McCreary pulled off a HUGE win during the 1992-93 season at the region tournament at South Laurel.

Pulaski County and Kiki Nazario and South Laurel and Jackie Steele were picked to play in the finals that year, but both were knocked off in the semis during a big snowstorm.

 

McCreary canned the Maroons and Casey County, who ended up winning the region, beat South.

I remember Casey because they had a player that looked identical to Travis Ford.

 

The game against PC that year was a great game. I believe Donnie Frazier had 28 points in that game for the Raiders. In that Final against Casey, MC was up 5 points with under 1 min(if I remember correctly) and ended up losing.

When was last time MC went to Rupp.

1983!!!! Too long! I'm sure this group of guys are hungry to break that drought! I would love to see them get it done.. But first they have to "Bring It Monday Night"... I'm sure Lincoln will be ready!!!

The Raiders are hungry and I think that has showed over the last 2 weeks. They are playing great team basketball. The dunk by Schrock just capped off a very impressive performance for the Raiders last night. I can't wait for Monday night, it will be a great game. :thumb:

Jacob Dixon 6'5" Sophmore for McCreary Central maybe one to keep an eye on. He has really came on the second half of the season. He could end up being special by the time he is a senior if he continues to improve.

Will the gym be cleared between games?

McCreary has not beat East Jessamine yet. That attitude is why there are huge upsets. Dont be suprised.

Great Job by Coach Jones last night with the adjustments made when SW went on their run. Roark was a beast in the paint! The Raiders played with fire last night. They wanted it badly and they went and got it. It was a GREAT high school basketball game!! One that I am glad I was there to watch..:popcorn: GREAT JOB RAIDERS!!!!! :clap:

McCreary is over rated, they played Dunbar...if they played the decent teams in the 11th they couldn't even compete.

:ohbrother:I think that is a bit of a reach. They competed with JTown. IMO JTown maybe a little better than "the decent teams in the 11th".

A good win for the Raiders. I think they are coming on at the right time this year. The last 5 games they are 4-1 with the only loss being to Jtown by 13. They will be tough out in the post season.

McCreary and Wayne come out of the 48th.

Rob and the Raiders make their 1st trip to Rupp since 1983!

I think the Raiders will benefit from the tougher schedule. Watching them over the last two weeks they really seem to be playing with a lot more intensity and toughness. I think they will be ready to make sure last year isn't repeated! Go get'em Raiders!:ylsuper:
